A lot.
The mix of "Keep on Movin'" on DDR Ultramix has actually had it's lyrics changed to "Keep on doin' it". It doesn't say "Keep on Movin'" once during the song. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

The line has always been "Keep on doin' it". At first, I didn't believe it until I listened to the song while reading the lyrics. _________________

In Dancing Stage Euromix is was "Keep on Movin'". I listened to both to make sure I wasn't getting things mixed up :s
Just for the record, listening to a song while reading "lyrics" can make you think that they're correct, even if they're not. I listened to both without reading anything and they're definately different words. _________________

the legend of max IS a flashing ten on ddr extreme us. go to nonstop, then very competitive, then put it to difficult, and it will be flashing. |

-The first 8 steps of TwinBee are UUDDLRLR.... just like the Konami code.
-Cowgirl has the sound of a cicada or locust in the background during the chorus.
-Lots of songs have tempo changes even though the BPM doesn't change on the song selection screen. For example, Simply Being Loved (from Extreme US) slows down slightly for a measure right before the second set of triplets. And of course Ecstasy slows down for a measure right after the first stop.
-Flash in the Night, Bye Bye Baby Balloon and Follow Me from 6th Mix have never been given official foot ratings.
-.59 means "heaven." (the Japanese symbol for those numbers looks like the symbol for "heaven.")
-Certain songs on Extreme have Oni steps that can be accessed only by a glitch in Nonstop mode (Dam Dariram, Last Message, Love Shine).
-Rhythm and Police is the theme song from some Japanese TV show.
Maybe those are obvious, but I hope not. |

These are getting pretty good...
Here's some more:
Rhythm and Police has the Telephone Operator robot in the video on MaxUS, even though we've never gotten Telephone Operator.
In DDR Extreme US, Theme from Enter the Dragon isn't correctly in the ABC order. It's after The Reflex, where it should be before it. (Unless there's some special rule for spaces.)
The only KO that hasn't been repeated from Disney Mix is Let the Beat Hit 'Em!, but the Classic R&B remix was in two consecutive mixes.
All the Different Mixes have had different song sorting schemes:
DDR Extreme: ABC Order, 'Boss' songs highlighted.
DDRMax2: Divided up between New, Old, Secret, Challenge, and Boss. Otherwise, ABC order.
DDRMax: I can't make any sense of this one, besides being divided between Normal, Secret, and 'Boss'.
KONAMIX: ABC order, unless you prefer genres.
Disney Mix: Ascending difficulty for Disney songs, followed by descending difficulty for others. (Light Mode)
DDR: I forget, but I think it may have been ascending difficulty. (Light Mode) _________________

Yes, there is. But there's also a "special rule" for words like "The", so technically, "The Reflex" should be with the R's |

but "The Legend of Max" is in the T's on ddrexac, which totally owns ddrexus. win. _________________

In DDR, all of the "The" songs are under "T"... and technically, it's always wrong. |

All the 573's in the game(i.e. high scores)... 573 in Kanji is close to "Ko-Na-Mi" (Go-Na-Mi?)
Also, .59 is "Ten-Go-Ku", meaning Heaven. _________________

heres one i think is good...
bag heavy only has one sixteenth note in it, in the part where the music speeds up for a second in the beginning (music, not bpm) the rest are thirty secind notes, eigth notes, and quarter notes _________________

as your combo increases, so does the size of the numbers |

I think its 64th notes that the song uses, not 32nd (Konami approximates 12th and 24th notes with 64th notes)

thats cool, never noticed that...ive got one that irks me, but you all probably noticed
in ddr extreme Us, marvelous (though its spelled with an extra l) steps are possible in nonstop and (im pretty sure) oni modes, but not in regular singles or doubles modes
off topic question: in ddr ex us, why are maximizer, trip machine survivor, and tlom red? are they equivalent to kakumei/max300/maxx unlimited like "boss" songs? thanks |

"Marvellous" is the English spelling; it's not incorrect, just different. Marvelous steps have always been only for Oni and nonstop modes, even in the arcade.
Those songs are red because they're the "boss" songs from the arcade Extreme (except Maximizer, which is the home version's boss song). |

Maximizer's boss steps aren't so easy (although they're not 10-foot-worthy, either). Check out Mission 100 in the Mission Mode.
TMS is a boss song because of Trip Machine's legacy throughout the DDR series, and because it's one of the last songs you can unlock on the arcade Extreme. Candy Star, Kakumei and Dance Dance Revolution are all boss songs, yet they're all easy. |
