You are posting what appears to be a sentence with one punctuation mark and the shift key hit in all the wrong places at the DDR Freak forums, and you have the gall to call someone else a geek? And please... remember that there is a key with a period on it for a reason, not to mention the apostrophe or the previously-mentioned shift key. And don't forget your commas! |

And Sexy Planet. poopy like that when they see you playing Max 300. THEYRE NOT IMPRESSED. THEY ARE LIKE, WTF IS HE DOING, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.
And to have this reputation with a ugly girlfriend. I might as wwell kill myself. |
Thank you for your stereotyping there buddy. Do you want to hear another one? Most of the guys that I know that play DDR don't know how to take a shower, they don't know what a stick of deodorant is used for, hardly any of them have a job and if they do then they spend almost their entire paycheck on playing DDR in the arcade. Yet, I would never claim this to be ALL guys that play DDR because I've met a few that are quite the opposite.
If you want a trophy then be our guest. If you want a girl with similar interests and a great mind then I suggest you stop looking at the outside. Seriously, how old are you? What grade are you in that you still believe that who you have by your side is what makes or breaks you as a person?
On another note, not all girls that are into DDR or that are "anime nerds" are ugly, thank you very much. |

All females that play DDR are not anime nerds and are not ugly. I don't like anime and I highly doubt that my boyfriend would have ever approached me if i were ugly. He's a typical male who loves his hot females.
I also noticed a few people saying that having a DDR relationship is stupid and doesn't work. Rychan and I are proof that you guys are completely wrong. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years (our anniversary was last week), and without DDR, we would have never met. Also, Rychan has been keeping up with her relationship for a pretty long fucking time, after meeting her man on the forums, from the last time I heard from her (correct me if I'm wrong Rychan).
So don't assume, and don't stereotype, bitches.

Jason (VxJasonxV) and I have been together just over a year (Keep in mind he's living in Arizona now while I'm in Colorado, even harder to keep a strong long distance relationship, but we manage). We more got to know each other through Live Journal and AIM, but yes it also has to do with DDRFreak. Afterall, he is the moderator of the region I'm from.
On the "Anime Nerd" subject, yes, my art style (see my or Jason's signature banners) is anime style, but that doesn't mean I'm hugely into anime, at least not anymore. I haven't really sat down to watch anime in about 3 years.

Hah, I know who I am and i'm supprised I like DDR. ANd it's a bad reflection of myself....Let's see, im not gonna all deep and mushy, but I like to run track, play soccer, talk to girls, make jokes, call girls, have friends over a lot, and i get ok grades. DDR is a small secretive hobby for me.

Dude, my girl DDR's like it ain't no thang! Honestly, it's awesome. There's nothing like a good sesh to bring two people together. We can learn from eachother, good encouragement, all that. It rocks.
As for the bad first impression, let me say this: I'm a sophomore in highschool and it seems to me that if you tell someone what games you like to play, and they judge you on it, then they're not the kind of person that's good to get involved with. The ones that are nice people will be curious and actually interested in something new. If somebody can't handle your choice of games, how do you expect them to handle your other choices, like what political party you support, or what religion you follow? DDR is effing fun, and if somebody can't accept that, they suck already.

Now this is an excellent post. I agree with you whole-heartedly. If people think you're "stupid" or some other derogatory adjective for something reasonable that you enjoy such as a video game like Dance Dance Revolution, then they don't need to be actively interacted with anyway for any reason. |
