What do people do while playing DDR that really angers you?

i hate it when people play ddr with mud or dirt on their shoes and then leave it up to us to make the pads playable agian.

In addition to whats already been said, what about people who chew gum while playing? Not the action itself, but when it flies out of their mouth, lands on a panel, and gets stepped on? That happened at my arcade. Even after it was scraped off and cleaned, it was still almost too sticky to play.

It's really annoying when people just leave all their crap at the station after they played...just not right. Pollution kills the world why make it worse??

When your up there playing End of century and some kid behind is you is like screaming the lyrics to it. And then you hear him talking loudling about getting a very cheap metal ebay pad.

I personally find it more difficult to play with any sort of speed mod (save Bag and Be in my Paradise). If the arrows are spaced differently than I'm used to, I have a harder time.
And while spacing arrows out might help some people (if you know the rhythm of the song, it doesn't help at all, IMO), you're also making it towhere you can't see nearly as far ahead. Perhaps we should accuse people that play at .5x as being unfair?

well, lets get back top the topic, shall we? i hate it when people take your money, steal your game, walk on the pad while your playing, saying it your fault if they got hit (especially on doubles...) of course pad abusers (everyime someone abuses a pad, a baby DIES, metephorically). the usual stuff

man, I was a really annoying beginner. I played the same song three times in a row once on beginner. I wouldn't shadow dance on the pad though. I just pretended there was a pad below me where I was standing in line. Something to pass the time by while waiting.

I hate it when your trying to get better, but you still fail the song on light and everyone in line laughs at you. I also hate it when by brother in-law tells me to do the hard songs (Healing Vision: Angelic Mix) and laughs at me whenever I miss an arrow! Then when I tell him it's his turn he doesn't play! He just thinks he's so great just because he "Knows" People who can do ten footers. Geez he pisses me off!

Y'know what I hate? I hate when people in the arcade assume I'm like...8 and say "Well, there's a beginner mode" to me. They just assume because of my height and look that I'm some 8 year-old kid who knows absolutely nothing about DDR. I'm actually 13, and can usually pass 10 footers for a whole round (at one arcade, I did Sakura, MAX 300, and 3/4 of LoM all on Heavy, I didn't get good grades, but I passed). >> It really makes me mad. Why don't you wait and see what the kid/person can do before you make comments. What makes me feel better though is right before we go to whatever song we're playing, I'll switch to heavy, the guy will give me a wierd look, we'll play, and I'll beat him gradewise or scorewise. SOmetimes both. It'll make me feel really good and put me in a "I sure showed you" mood. ^^

When you're doing really well on a song (i.e-about 25 steps away from AAA) and either:
A) Some random dumabss comes up and starts acting like a goof on the pad beside you.
B) Someone comes up and tries to talk to you/pat you on the back while you're still playing.

I can think of at least 6 AAA's I was denied of because of this happening!

There are two kids at my arcade who come in together, are friends, are at basically the same skill level, whore the same songs on the same difficulty every time, but never play together.

They both play on single one right after the other...JUST PLAY TOGETHER GUYS! It saves alot of time waiting in line and then I only have to listen to R3 3 times in a row as opposed to 6.

I'm going to guess that shadowing means praticing without actually playing? I was actually complimented once because I did that on the floor behind 2 of my friends who were playing and it looked like I was doing better than them.

What pisses me off....
1.People in the food court looking in the arcade through the big glass window like I'm a monkey in the zoo
2. Praticing a song behind someone, doing well, and then doing crappy on the same song when you play it for real.
3. Playing someone who gets pissed off if you play a different skill level than them.
4. Matching the level of that person to shut them off and failing it.
