my gf plays ddr. she is even starting to get into initial d too. similarities dont stop there though, it'd take me quite a while to list everything. its really uncanny. great stuff.

i know this is for guys but i have to say...here at my arcade all the girls are plastics so they don't play ddr, so they consider us -girls that play- as tomboys. so guys see me as 'one of the them' and that sux. thats why i dont have a bf that plays ddr.

No, it's not every guy's dream to have a significant other playing a video game that they enjoy. I on the otherhand don't care if I have a girlfriend that is better than me or even playing ddr.

it is a great way for us to spend time together. he used to go to the arcade while i was at work, now we both go. i think that it is a cool thing not a thing to make/break a relationship

I would like to have a b/f that plays DDR, I play DDR and i also watch other's play DDR, when the machine is surrounded by people. But yeah it would be good to have a BF with something like that in common.

I play DDR, and I'm the girlfriend of a guy who plays better than me. It's most definitely not the defining aspect of our relationship, but it's cool to just be like "Hey, let's go to the arcade." About all the guys saying one of the downsides is that you have to spend a lot of money if you go on a date to the arcade.. I wouldn't so much call going to the arcade a date in the first place, but I might as well mention that I give him money about as often as he gives me money in the arcade. I'm pretty sure he'd still be interested in me even if I didn't play, so it's not like he's dating me because I'm a girl who plays DDR, it's just one common interest among many, one potential source of fun among many.

Most of the girls I know that play DDR are not very good at it. I personally know 3 girls who are effective at perfect attacking and only 2 of them have stamina to be able to handle 10-footers.

Anyway, on topic:
I had a girlfriend that played DDR. I dedicated my 100th heavy AAA to her, and 3 hours later she broke up with me. Yay?
