I saw people at the arcade playing at the mall by my old house. They were doing light mode. I thought, "Dude, that's so easy." I decided to try it, on light. I failed miserably. I didn't touch the game for another 1 1/2- 2 years... I finally got into the game because I bought the home version. E4.gif

My first impression was when i saw my neighbor play ddr on light at the time, and i thought, well, it looks really stupid, but i should try it. So i did, and for about a month from then i hated the game. I couldnt do it at all, soon i moved up to standard on it at her house and decided to get the game. From then on, i constantly play it, i have to look for an arcade every vacation i go on, i need to find the game and play it at least once in the arcade!

I never thought I'd ever played it and never saw anyone on it. Later my friend got me on it and I'm forever hooked.

i was visiting my moms best friends house in arizona, and the mall was like
1 1/2 miles away, so i desided to walk ( i walk allot ) and im a huge game freak so of course the first thing i looked for was an arcade (my sanctuary) and i walkled around tha arcade a bit then i saw the ddr machine and no one was on it, but then this guy got on it and tore it up(in a good way) and then he just left, i thought it was so awsome, i grasped the concept right away so i couldnt deem it stupid, my first ..........wow.....

My first DDR impression?
"Omg someone has discovered the most stupid and useless game EVER! I didn't think this was possible!"

Then I tried it, sucked, and avoided the machine like it was trying to kill me for a year. Until I actually BOUGHT it and loved it.

Now I am.
"Omg someone has discovered the best and most useful game EVER! I didn't think this was possible!"

1st impression:
I saw someone playing at an arcade and said "wow that looks hard"
so a year later I tried it (and did the easiest song on 3rd mix, cause that what I played) and I beat that song on first try (most people don't beat the first song on the first try)

It was seven years ago when I was at least six or seven. I was watching this teen do Dynamite Rave on light, and I was so amazed. I mean, what did you expect from a seven year old?
