Why do you play DDR?

Hello

my names brad. i am working on a school project on DDR. All seniors in my class have to create a "senior project" in order to graduate. i chose to get in shape with DDR. along with this i need to create a research paper. my research question is "why do people play ddr and how do they first get involved?" i'll be citing whoever respods in my paper and i'll post the finished product when im done with it. please respond.

i play for excercise. i love the game and enjoy playing casually, but it is my #1 source of excercise.

i first got started because a friend showed it to me. i got hooked. it feeds the "exibitionist feelings" i sometimes have...(showoff) haha.

i appreciate any and all responses.

i play it so i can win the tournament that is being run by a corrupt creator of the game, and take his eye and the 1,000,000 dollar prize so i can pay for my sister's operation that will give her her hearing back and she'll love me as much as i love her.

I play it because its fun, its a workout, and you can almost always get better.

I first played with a friend of mine and my only goal was to be able to crush him thoroughly. I soon accomplished this and found that I was addicted and started playing for fun.

Well i do it because it is obviously fun, addicting...I got started at a friends house and he murdered me like a full grown man killing a child. But I just kept playing at his house and in a week I was on heavy, and now he is still on standard MUHAHAHAHAHA.....NOW WHO'S BETTER AHEHEHE...and I don't really need excercise because i skateboard but my legs always hurt after skatboarding DDR'ing all day long...and I also want to get really good at DDR quickly to crush all who oppose me....MUHAHAHA....but ya..

I play mostly because it has me under it's heavy paw...I'm addicted.

But, seriously there are other reasons:

1) I'm trying to lose weight for horseback riding (and it'll help stamina too)
2) I want to improve my PA skillz lyke woah.
3) I want to kick all the guys at my school who think they r0x0r5 at DDR's buttocks

That's about it. Oh yes, ego, we're the best of friends.

just go to your local arcade interview a few ppl on tape and make a DDR vid. i helped this i guy i know yesterday, he got a vid of me doin Afronova hvy(23 greats btw) then 5 questions afterward
