Is it possible to play IIDX using a PS2 Dual-Shock controller?
Now, I'm in no way interested in actually using a DS controller. However I am interested in using the circuitry inside one to interface with a homemade IIDX (arcade replica) controller. If it can be controlled from the DS then that's already a good part of the battle... |

Yes you can. But it's button layout is, of course, very odd. Just find out which button does what and you are set |

Yeah, the game can't even tell the difference between a IIDX controller or a Dual Shock - you have to set it manually. The button layout is something like this (from key 1 to key 7):
Square, L1, X, R1, Circle, R2, Right
Turntable clockwise is Up, counterclockwise is Down.
