i just was "cruisin'" da net, and i was looking to see if there are any 8 or 9 panel sims out there. we've been using the pads to play pop'n music, but it is vurry hurd.
i'm turning my basement into bemani square, (i got cobalt fluxes connected to the computer and i'm ordering PF DM and Pop'n music accessories) so i'd appreciate any links to any sims out there, or if there is already a thread about dis.
thanks mangs! |

I believe (if i'm not mistaken) that there was a topic in "Other Bemani music games" about a game Called Dance: Europe which had 8 arrows. There's another one, Dance: UK, which I think is the original Dance: Europe. _________________

Also there's a game called MC Groovz Dance Craze for the GameCube that supports 8 arrow play.
Unfortunatly the game itself is pretty bad. |

There's also TechnoMotion - it's an arcade machine that AFAIK doesn't have a sim, put supports 4 panel (DDR), 5 panel (PIU) and 8 panel (TM) play. The only machine I've come across personally is in Excalibur, Las Vegas, NV.
The official site is here. |

If I'm not mistaken I believe stepmania supports (or will support) the technomotion gametype. So you probably could use that. As far as any simfiles being made for those games I'm not sure if any exist yet. _________________

pyDDR is the only simulator that I know of that supports 8 and 9 panel DDR by default. There are simfiles for music games with more panels, and I suppose Stepmania could read those...I dunno, though.
(Question - if you want nine panels, why not play Pop'n?) _________________
