I give my respects to the people or things that influenced and help me to play DDR.
-Dancing Baby
-Paul Van Dyk
-My mom, who bought me my metal dance pad
-Last, but not least, my friends Jason, Rob, and Max. Who are also avid DDR players

Went over to my friend's house one day and he had it and I tried it out; was hooked. That's about it.

Noone really influenced me to start playing DDR.. but the person that kept me going is The Chris. He's one of the players at our arcade, and hes not a complete A'hole like you'd think. If he wasn't around, I wouldn't have any goal and I'd probably have quit a while ago.. So Chris, if you ever read this, thanks d00d.

2 years ago i was at a christmas party and a bunch of 9-14 year olds were playing this tv plug in thing (one of those cheap rubbish ddr rip offs) and i was having my beer and saying *wouldnt it be cool if they had that on the playstation with decent tunes graphics blah blah blah* and the 9 yr old goes 'well if you go to a video game store you will find a game called dancing stage euro mix.. So i go down there and buy it got home played it thought it was so awesome!! then the other european ones came out and lo and behold here i am today - then my mate told me about the arcade ones and that was it DDR heaven !

I've also gotta give props to Miss Yukon Makoto and her awesome ddr webcomic 10k commotion. If frank intro'd the game to me, and fred makes me aspire to become better, then this webcomic is a constant reminder to me to get off my a$$ and stomp some arrows.

fast moving feet + blinky lights + catchy Jpop= LOVE

My brother's friend brought over the game and a pad about a year ago. My life has never been the same since that night.

Most of my friends I got hooked on DDR, and now the whole marching band plays it. I have DDR partys and mass people show up and we all play DDR on 4 pads. It rocks.

Anyway, uhh, probably my friends... and me.

No one really influenced me since I was one of the first people to play out of anyone I knew. Doesn't mean I'm good or anything. E10.gif
