Wait, shipping is flat of $45? I live in Arizona, and being that the RedOctane is bigger and heavier, it only costs $20 to ship to me. Is there a way I can get a reasonable shipping cost, considering my location? |

losen the screws itll make it alot easier to hold frezzes etc... Cobalt flux ships their cf's with the screws too tight so you should loosen them until the panels arent boed up _________________

You should change the settings in Options; it's something that modifies the time difference between the steps to the music. I forgot what it's called though. >< _________________

I paper moded my pad (put paper under the four arrows that aren't needed) and it's working like crazy. Almost got my first AAA (four greats). I was wondering if putting paper under the arrow will hurt the sheet metal or wires under the pad. |

For those of you who have ordered the cobalt flux what was the shipping cost..I read in a previous post it was a flat fee of $45...is th at just for one pad? I want the doubles pack and it says shipping is about $85; is th at because I'm getting two pads? Or are they just making up for their holiday sale prices with shipping. |

The RO or the CF which one is better overall. ive heard CF was better and i know sum things about it. but RO is cheaper but which one is worth it, the RO or the CF?

Lemme give you the facts:
CF is more durable, more responsive, and will last a longer time.
RO is cheaper, quieter, and has a control box that is halfway decent.
But overall, I'd say CF is better and gives the most bang for the buck. |

they've been claiming that an xbox c-box should be coming out "some time soon" since last november ('03) when Ultramix came out....for now....either use a converter or (recommended) make your own control box by ripping up a crappy softpad (http://www.beaverbytes.com/controlboxguide.html and someone around here's signature both have instructions) _________________

Can anyone attest to the CF's performance on StepMania or DWI using a PSX->USB converter? _________________

I just think that it depends on which adapter you use really. If you use the better ones from Lik Sang, then the CF will work better. Just go on the SM site and check the adapter that THEY reccomend because I know it's on the site somewhere. _________________
