Looking for a guide to attacht an arcade style bar to a DDR Pad (for any metal pad in general, im sure that I could change it a bit to fit mine)
Or... is there none? heh I personally cant find any.

Got Flux? has a sexy CF with a wooden frame and bar...
I tried asking this a while ago, and nobody seems to know how to do it.

If all else fails, just go to home depot and look in plumbing or hardware for mounts.

how would you suggest i mod my RO metal mat to attach a bar?
edit: or would it just be the same as the CF mod?\
edit 2: does anybody know the exact dimentions of the bar? or at least something relatively close

from the arcade machine faq:

if your mat isn't homebuilt, it's definetely not a good idea to start bolting or mounting anything to it, so ya. You should just make a frame like in the pic I just posted. The guy who made it is Got Flux?, so go bug him if you want more info on his mod

thanks, i wasen't quite sure where the dimentions of the bar were, but i think im gunna make a frame and mount a bar to the frame.

dude go kill yourself kthx.
somebody asks for help with a pad and you come in and start flaming. my guess is that you're not even experienced enough to understand bar usage.

 lol j/k im currently working on a new one. its close to christmas and things are a wee-bit hectic around here and i haven't had alot of time to build anything new. but advice for anyone building one: make the whole base one SOLID piece...dont do what i did and build the back piece seperate from the front...it got me through PSMO but at the cost of feeling like i was about to have a solid steel pole shoved where it didn't belong...so yeah....make it solid.i think on the next one im gonna make im going to make a light mod...ill post pics when i get started.

how did you get your pad to look like that? i mean with the arrows turned and metal plates over the x,o,tri,square buttons?

the arrows are just the solo arrows that came with the pad. i ordered another decal set because my others were ripping so i decided to put these to use...the metal plates are just whats under the arrow graphics.if you want the metal plates exposed then just take off your arrow graphics.
