Just a thought but what songs do you think if weren't released would dramatically change DDR |

Heaven, Like a virgin, Believe, Go West, Kids in America...
If these songs hadn't been put into DDR it would dramatically would be better. _________________

I wholeheartedly agree with this argument. _________________

Methinks so too.
But for the worse it would be all the ten's, Irresistublement, Love Shine, A, 321 Stars, anything by Naoki, and anything by dj Taka. Take away any of those and DDR isn't as good. _________________

I probably would have stopped playing without the 10's!
Super agree with everything else. |

Without Captain Jack, DDR would be worthless! (Not quite worthless, but not as good) _________________

Forget songs... other than the 10's, speed mods have had a significant impact on the game as a whole and how it is played. |

As has the bar, but, that was there from the beginning.

If none of the techno songs (TaQ) were left out, DDR would just seem like a bunch of japanese pop songs with crazy graphics. _________________

As said before, Go West, Heaven, Kids in America, Believe, and Like a Vigin all suck. I'd also take out Secret-Rendezvous, Get Down Tonight, Crash, There You'll Be, YMCA, LOVIN' YOU (ROB SEARLE CLUB MIX), jam jam reggae... must I go on? _________________

Max 300. Without that, there would be no song at the 270bpm mark or higher..... or 10's. _________________

Um, excuse me?
All the songs w/ 270+ BPM are:
PARANOiA Survivor -- (Min) 135 BPM (Max) 270 BPM
PARANOiA Survivor Max -- (Min) 145 BPM (Max) 290 BPM
MAX 300 -- 300 BPM
Across The Nightmare -- 300 PM
Sakura -- (Min) 14 BPM (Max) 300 BPM
MAXX Unlimited -- (Min) 140 BPM (Max) 320 BPM
The Legend of MAX -- (Min) 83 BPM (Max) 333 BPM
Outer Limits [on Ultramix, but it still counts] -- (Min) 85 BPM (Max) 342 BPM
Pretty sure that's all of them, and definitely more than just MAX 300. Also, all of those songs listed are 10s with the exception of Across The Nightmare and Sakura's challenge steps.
***edit*** So this stays on-topic, yes, the licensed songs from Extreme USA are indeed utterly horrible. DDR is not so big in Japan anymore and Konami has to ruin for us, too? |

What he means is, Max 300 was the first to break the ice. The rest were only acceptable because Max 300 actually worked as a DDR song. Personally, I think it's stupid. Max 300 isn't actually 300 bpm, its 150 bpm at 2x. Same with all the ones in the quote above plus Drop Out. _________________

DDR would be dramatically different if there was no Naoki. Imagine what it would be like then. |

if there was no beginner mode on extreme
it would be very bad. because n00bs wouldn't know what they are doing
and also if it was on like 1st mix... if they kept it as beginners mode on one separate mode and then you had to pick normal to go to standard/difficult/expert if they didn't mix those into one mode i would be mad because then i couldn't play with my horrible friends _________________

i agree with 10 foot songs, with out 10 foot songs people would try less.
But dynamite rave would have the largest impact I estimate . |

Butterfly by far. Do you seriously think they would have got past 1st mix without it? |
