Just thought I'd start a thread so people can post their In the Groove feats. So ya, let's treat this just like the accomplishment threads on the DDR Gameplay forum.
Please make note what difficulty you're did plz.
I'll start...
On a Day Like Today hard - 94.08
July hard - 88.29
Drifting Away hard - 91.21
Perfect hard - 88.59
Fly Away hard - 92.40
Flying High hard - 93.20
Solina hard - 89.49
The Game (II, ha ha ha) hard - 95.17

Not sure on the percentage. I hope the machine I frequent gets USB ports sometime soon.
Hip Hop Jam (expert)- 3 greats, 174 perfects? Don't know for sure
Vertex (expert) - A-. I'll get a percentage next time I play it. _________________

Uh, isn't this what the the Accomplishments Forum over at iTgFreak is for? I've already seen a few people complaining about people clogging up DDRFreak with ITG stuff, though I don't mind.
Um, anyway...
Caddywhompus (norm) - 85.22%
Mods are fun! But my FA kind of sucks. I got like 300 excellents and 100 greats out of 900 steps, despite the fact that three of those songs are 2s. :/
Utopia (ex) - 66.87%
Easiest... 11... ever. Just barely passed it, but the rest of the 11s just kill me.
Trance (norm) (double) - 72.20%
Mods are fun, and so is double! I hadn't passed it before and I thought 1.5x might help, but that screwed me over because of all the times it threw on Sudden, so I'll have to try it again on 1x. BS'd the ending run, because I can't read it at all with those mods. _________________

So far, the only arcades/locations that I've gone to for In The Groove are:
Family Fun Arcade, Granada Hills, CA
All Amusement Fun Center, Van Nuys, CA
Zero Gravity @ Glendale Galleria, Glendale, CA
Arcade World @ Stonewood Center Mall, Downey, CA
James Games, Upland, CA
Still have to go to Electric Avenue, Ventura; Pro-Swap-Meet, San Bernardino; Ray's Games, La Jolla; and Cal Poly @ San Luis Obispo for the remaining locations. Is that a trip or what? Please reply, over! Thanks!

I'm amazed at how you remember the exact percentages, I can't remember when scores I got for the marathon mode. I do remember that I got like a 91 or 92 percent on a song that I think is called the game on doubles though. I guess I'm proud of that since I got that on my second try, then my third try I did really crappy but that's not really the point I guess. |

Get a USB drive, and then bring it with you to the arcade. You can plug it in to the USB hub on the machine somewhere (I've seen it attached to the side at the arcade I've been in) and it'll save your scores and screenshots and stuff. _________________

I just played the first time last night... Some of those songs are HARD! (well, on Expert with all the Hands and/or Mines...)
I got a few A's, but the only one I really remember was I think I got around 93% on Hybrid (Hard). I'll have to go back with a flashdrive and record the scores next time I'm there.
Edit: By the way, the machine I was at is in Phoenix, AZ I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else yet... |
