My boyfriend doesn't really hate DDR and he isn't a player either, but he still has a fun time watch me play. He plays ocassionally.

He is considering it because it's another way to keep off the extra pounds and to be able to join me. It would help his mom too. happy.gif

The girl I am going out with right now is just a casual player. Just graduated from Beginner to Light... I mean, she thinks it's great that I actually do something other than just role-play. She laughs at me sometimes, like when I do Cowgirl, but that's about it...

You sound like you have a lot of input for the 'You know you've been playing too much DDR when...' thread. ;)

All of the girlfriends that I've had don't really play at all. My current girlfriend doesn't know much about it, other than it's cool if you're good at it. She likes to watch people play, but she won't play it herself in fear of being embarassed by her noobishness. It's a little hard when they don't play because that's one less thing we could be having fun doing. I'd like to someday go out with a girl who's just as obsessed with the game as I (but not able to give me a run for my money. But since I can AA Max 300 and 9s, I doubt that'll happen - in my area that is).

Haha, I've been dating LaseK for a year. If it wasn't for DDR, I'd still be sleeping on his couch in his basement while he wins some quick game of starcraft. E1.gif The only thing we do outside his basement is play DDR :O

My girlfriend is kinda funny. We both started playing at the same time, but I played more. We played at this arcade when we went on vacation, but now she won't even go near the damn machine. She has no problem playing at home on a controller, but for some reason, she just won't play in the arcade anymore. I got no problem with that, just wondered what happened.

Nowadays, she doesn't play at all anymore, and I just play when I go to enter tourneys mainly to freestyle, kuz I can hardly PA. Now we just play IIDX trying to take down each other's scores. I'm ahead by 5 AA's and it's killing her. laugh.gif

I met my GF while playing DDR. Strangly enough, at the time, she was better than me. Now I can kick her butt happy.gif

She's starting to get back into it, now, though...We both play on Heavy, and she's working on crossovers

he went out with another girl before me, and she asked, "do you like ddr more than me?" it took him a moment to answer..

Speaking of which, is it okay to tell your girlfriend that you like DDR more than her, even if you don't? What about Halo 2?

So...Just curious...Since you went out with him, does that mean you're a "losar" too?

Why would you say that in the first place?

Because she's fun to get reactions out of her.

All the guys I've dated or have almost dated but one have been DDR players, and all the guys I've dated but one I could out PA consistently. laugh.gif

I don't limit myself to dating DDR players or I don't date people just because they like DDR. There has to be something else there, ya know? And if the only thing we do is play DDR when we go out, that has to be a sign for something bad.

It's always nice to have some friendly competition, though... and someone you can count on to play with. biggrin.gif

my b/f doesn't like that I play so much but he doesn't tell me to quit, he says as long as it makes you happy. I guess if the person cares for you then they'll except it even if it's not iteresting for them.

I'd be happy to get a girlfriend at all. If she played DDR with relative skill, I'd like, propose right there biggrin.gif
