Heh. When I play DDR sometimes, I lose my balance (well, most of the time) and I like, tip sideways a little. (I don't drink alcohol, either. So I'm not drunk or anything.) Does that happen to anyone else?
Or am I the only retard? _________________

Thanks for the good laugh, man. It's good to know I'm not alone. Heh. But it must be cool to have a Harry Potter looking scar. But what's NOT cool is how you got it. Heheheee. Yeah, and I feel so drunk when playing. Maybe my legs are just weak. Or maybe ... I dunno. _________________

If this is happening a lot, you probably aren't using your hands to balance. Make sure your hands are out of your pockets and moving naturally at all times. _________________

Thanks for the tips, ya'll. I'll try them. I don't know if I do all of those things while I'm playing, though. Well, I know for sure that I keep my hands out of my pocket. _________________

Are you staying hydrated?
(drinking water, not soda...) |
Yeah. I drink water between songs. But sometimes I would have some Pepsi. >_>;

When I play at home I slip off my ignitions a lot.
My socks produce no friction whatsoever. _________________

It happens. I used to have it happen a few times, but as I kept playing over the months, it became less and less likely for me to trip, but however I still lean a bit... |

Oh, avoid the hand spazzy thingy people do. I see a lot of people do this thing, even people who can pass a lot of 9 footers, where their arm muscles like spazz up and stay in the same place, but their hands go limp or something. It looks really crappy, and I think it puts them off balance. Let your arms go where they want to go. Just loosen up in general. Bend your knees more. _________________

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I didn't get a chance to play DDR today, but when I do I'll keep those things in mind. _________________

Some people have less balance than others. I used to be a spaz. You'll get better. _________________
