Heh. When I play DDR sometimes, I lose my balance (well, most of the time) and I like, tip sideways a little. (I don't drink alcohol, either. So I'm not drunk or anything.) Does that happen to anyone else?

Or am I the only retard? disturb.gif

Thanks for the good laugh, man. It's good to know I'm not alone. Heh. But it must be cool to have a Harry Potter looking scar. But what's NOT cool is how you got it. Heheheee. Yeah, and I feel so drunk when playing. Maybe my legs are just weak. Or maybe ... I dunno.

If this is happening a lot, you probably aren't using your hands to balance. Make sure your hands are out of your pockets and moving naturally at all times.

Keep your head as still as you can and in the mid of the pad if you can. This way it will be hard to tip over. Also look ahead so you can have your body in a good spot to do the next move.
If you would like more help with any moves/skills just ask me of any other member of team K.T.M E4.gif

Are you staying hydrated?
(drinking water, not soda...)

Thanks for the tips, ya'll. I'll try them. I don't know if I do all of those things while I'm playing, though. Well, I know for sure that I keep my hands out of my pocket.

When I play at home I slip off my ignitions a lot.

My socks produce no friction whatsoever.

It happens. E15.gif I used to have it happen a few times, but as I kept playing over the months, it became less and less likely for me to trip, but however I still lean a bit...

Oh, avoid the hand spazzy thingy people do. I see a lot of people do this thing, even people who can pass a lot of 9 footers, where their arm muscles like spazz up and stay in the same place, but their hands go limp or something. It looks really crappy, and I think it puts them off balance. Let your arms go where they want to go. Just loosen up in general. Bend your knees more.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I didn't get a chance to play DDR today, but when I do I'll keep those things in mind. E1.gif

Some people have less balance than others. I used to be a spaz. You'll get better.
