Who here has a buttload of DDR games? Who like songs that are on different games? Who gets tired of wearing out their console's power/reset button to switch games around to play different songs?
If you answered "me" to the above 3, then here's an idea:
What if you could have Konami place your favorite DDR songs into 1 game?
There could be a limit of 50 or 60 or 70, ya know- something reasonable...
I've seen the favorite song thread, and most people have between 20 or 40 favs.
It's not like it would be difficult for Konami. They already have the songs, animations, steps, etc. You could give them a list of your favorite and have them put it all in one package.
Sure it might take them a month or more; you might get put on a waiting list. That's no different than waiting half a year or more for EX to come out. There would be no disappointment because a particular song didn't make it cause you choose the songlist. It might even give Konami a better idea of what gamers really want to see/hear, instead of them taking a shot in the dark and missing by a mile?
I don't know about ya'll, but even though I have most of 'em already, I would buy this if it were available. What do you think about it? |

I love your idea.
But Konami is an evil corporation, that only wants your money.
If your idea works out, the compilation cd's would probably be exorbantly high in money. _________________

That'd be cool, they'd probably make more money that way too.. Heh, and if everyone got different kinds, there'd be no "rare" games or anything like that.. |

I think that when DDR is breathing it's last breath, they should release an arcade version that has every song from every mix ever. Every arcade would have to get it. It would be cost effective too. It's like releasing "Super Mario All Stars". _________________

what they should do is make "PSRs" just like CDRs and you could make your own ddr mixes and games _________________

That's what sims are for, for some people at least. In theory you could edit a copy of a mix, but it'd be impossible. Or really hard. _________________

They kind of did that with Ultramix.
But you can only download the songs 5 at a time. You don't get to pick and choose.
Plus the timing in Ultramix is weird.
They kind of fscked that game up but their heart was in the right place. _________________
