its not an exact replica there are some different songs and options menu and editable steps methinks...

the up down left right arrows are for moving about some of the non-arcade like menus E1.gif

also, the cobalt flux pad with center steps does not = pump pad exactly... pumps corner steps are rectangular in shape, only the center step is a perfect square i believe (if even that...) it might make things harder because the corner steps sort of overlap the center step so you dont have to step as far away...

Ansari: You are officially the shi+.

No seriously.

tomo_kun: Corea was originally spelled with a C until Japanese occupation not long before WWII of what is now Korea. Because "C" preceeds "J" in the alphabetical following in the Olympics, they forced Corea to be spelled with a K, so it would follow Japan.

There's a history lesson for ya =)

He meant to say a vernacular word that is not allowed to be mentioned on this website.

Wow - I can't wait... better start praying:

"I hope it works with my Cobalt Flux... I hope it works with my Cobalt Flux... I hope it works with my Cobalt Flux..."

Well, if it doesn´t I still have the mat that comes with the game...

If it does work... my wife can have the extra mat E1.gif

have you seen that :
"The game can be played with the included soft dancing controller or any common Dual Shock 2™ controller. Pump it Up is played with basically 5 buttons (compared to Konami's 4 button DDR series): UPPER LEFT, UPPER RIGHT, DOWN LEFT, DOWN RIGHT and a CENTER button. Using a Dual Shock 2™ controller, the arrows revert to the L1 (upper left), L2 (down left), R1 (upper right), R2 (down right) and X (center) buttons. "
Just pray that it maps the Cobalt Flux....

Yes, I just realized that frown.gif

I have also posted it on the Cobalt Flux forums - so lets hope someone will produce a PIU control box.

Ditto. I expect mine sometime tomorrow or the day after, and anticipate it thoroughly.
Shoot, I stayed home on my only day off just in hopes I'd get it today.. ah well. It's worth every second of patience.

Music video mode alone'll be a good hour+ of fun.
Unhindered analyzation potential.

The first thing I'm looking for are the revivals' new steps though. The Rap Act 3 CZ/NM, A Trap NM, etc.. if they're in there.. Exceed PS2 > Exceed arcade.

Oh, and this hasn't been mentioned yet, but if you at all adore Banya's music, I recommend ordering Exceed PS2 ASAP, as the first shipment and the first shipment only includes the group's third album: Unfinished.

By the way, Exceed Ps2 has two Clon songs: Funky Tonight and Come To Me.

Still no First Love though..

I ordered it and got the first shipment. (I think, it was just yesterday) and playasia seems to be the only place that carries it. You might reconsider how much you wan PIU, its costin me $117.00 BTW, could someone tell me where their company is located?

PlayAsia is located and ships from Hong Kong, China. It's the only place online to get it so just get it. You get a $5 discount coupon for every order you buy from PlayAsia though. :]

*points to sig* :]

I doubt this considering how rampant the first Banya soundtrack was in the PC(Perfect Collection) pack.

I'll tell you the reason for the first player pad/second player pad fiasco.
The pads emulate usb keyboards. that's why they work with any PC, and work with usb to ps2 converters. A player 1 pad has the arrows mapped one way, wheras the player 2 pad has them mapped oto the player 2 keyset. Now perhaps the ps2 will handle things diffferently, or they redseigned the pads to daisy chain, but my strong suspicion is that you'll have oto buy a player 2 pad for 2 player or doubles action, just liek the PC. I could be wrong, though.

Worth every penny and then some. I paid just about as much for PX3 PC, and that had about 30 songs less. Not to mention the revised stepcharts of things like FA2/Turkey March/Slam/FAEI Nightmare and whatnot. Factor in the OST, music video mode, and the gorgeous Exceed graphics, and you have a steal for that price.

Not to mention that this becomes a demo Exceed 2 if the revived old songs have new steps to them..
