In my opinoin. I ove to show off with a little bit of captian jack because its fast. Or, I usually just switch it up to light and freestyle with nori nori nori.
What's your opinion? _________________

To me it would probably be Can't Stop Falling In Love (Speed Mix) on heavy just because of the speed. I also like to play Exotic Ethnic on heavy. Complicated steps... |

To a bystander with little to no knowledge of the game mechanics, anything on Heavy is sure to please a crowd.
I've found that the machine gun runs on SuperStar work fairly well.

Well, my neighbourhood is almost entirely oblivious to DDR, so I just do Holic on Heavy and wow them. _________________

I was just a game convention today, and they had a free DDR extreme machine! (So happy! ) I easily got a crowd, but everybody seemed to love Max 300. It was either a good crowd getter, or the little kid that kept following me kept on asking me to do it, VERY LOUDLY. |

dont want to seem like im gloating, but the harder the song appears, the more people want to watch. i had a crowd of about 20 gawkers today for psmo. i think i may have heard some gasps or an "oh my god!" on the death run at the end.
any song with some hard, loud, fast music with similar steps should do the trick though |

the last poster is right. any 10 ( besides maybe bag and sakura) will really impess folks. the biggest " wtf omg" i ever got was actually on the middle/ending of MaxX Unlimited heavy, people started just yelling out stuff like " OH MY GOD!" . and i didnt even do that great. i think it was a B _________________

The best song to show off with is (if u can do it) Legend of Max because for 1 its a better song than the rest and harder than the other max's,
and the end is fun to watch cuz ur moveing so damn fast it looks impossible. _________________

The max songs, heavy doubles of course. Heavy doubles will impress an experienced heavy player. _________________

I'm still sticking with Tsugaru, Cowgirl, Or Rhythm And Police.. With two people, and then they do the gallops, if they really bounce around and get into it it looks really cute. Its good if they're stepping the same too. One person double stepping and the other doing crossovers won't look as synchronized. Hrm.
As for the harder songs, they're not the same. Especially when they look more like someone stepping to keep up with the arrows rather than dancing. I don't know. Crazy fast movement is cool too I guess. But I think it'd be better to put on a show then show how fast your feet can hit the ground. |

I don't think it even has to be heavy. I think a mildly difficult light song will bring in as much crowd as a decent 9 footer.
However, I do believe that 10 footers are almost physically impossible looking, and so they draw crowds better than others. _________________

Tsugaru, no question. The gallops are what people hear the most, especially if you step really hard on them (like I do). The little fill towards the middle of the de-sire part is cool too. Max300 and Unlimited are great to show off to friends (if you can pull them off, I sure as hell can't).
Sadly, though, the one ten-footer I can clear easily, bag, bores people. I don't know why. Where is the bagpipe love? _________________

i say anything with a lot of spins (like trip machine luv mix or HVAM) would impress a lot of people. and 10-footers, except bag with speed mods. _________________

In my opinion, there's already big huge topic over in the Arcade section for just this sort of question. Maybe you've heard of the Attracting a Crowd thread? _________________
