Barefeet really do mix well with those screws down there.

I think it would be more cute if they also had a skirt on....hehehe.

I think feet are disgusting..they look funny and I just have a deep hatred for bare feet, so when people play barefooted at the arcade I just cringe. It's not cute, it doesn't help any, and shoes were invented for a reason.

Not to mention that if you hit those bolts, your feet are royally fucked. I've seen a picture of a guy that ripped his foot completely open playing barefoot.

Shoes = win.

Vell, I have tried playing barefoot.. and I nearly stubbed my toe multiple times.

Don't do it unless you're playing a slow song, or you've got your foot/eye coordination down like nobody's bidness.

I thought it would be easyer to play barefooted once, then I saw this girl who sliced her heal on one of the screws.......Ouch....Boy did that make me reconsider...

I'm not a girl but I'd like to chime in on the barefoot issue.

It's not disgusting at all. Think about it this way if you bar rape:
People go to the bathroom and don't wash their hands. Then they put their nasty hands all over the bar, and then YOU touch it. And your hands go near your mouth. Your feet don't. I'm a lot more worried about what's on my hands than my feet.

Second, I've been playing barefoot at the arcades since July, and my PA and general ability to pass songs has greatly increased. I failed Matsuri Japan that day in shoes, come back later in bare feet and FC it. Now isn't that just odd?

And no, I've never actually injured my feet from playing barefoot. I've A'ed all of the non-flashing 10's barefoot with no bar, and my feet had no cuts/blisters/etc. afterward. Then again I'm used to no shoes, since I was playing at home in socks/feet for 6 months before my first time at the arcade.
