No he hasnt completed his yet, hes having difficulties getting a bootable writeable disk large enough.
But once we do get this crap up and away, he will be able to do this.

| Way off topic, but why don't the Extreme machines support PS2 memory cards? Weren't they made in the PS2 era? |

The software was - The machines weren't (except for a very small handful). Most of the cabinets you see running DDR Extreme were built in 1998.

Cutriss (I can't spell), i have to send you my disney mix save file later. Its unlocked (which is what you want right, for the Memory card save section) ill send Konamix too.

Why would you need a disk for PlaySaver? PSXGameEdit works with it.

I get errors in windows, so i do all my reading and writing from Dos. Its a hell of alot faster that way too, with my p2 setup as a playsaver box, i can just pop in the zip disk, boot it, run it, and then put the disk in my p4 and work with the saves, its alot less effort than trying to get windows to play with my memory card.

No.
1. Konami didn't make the hardware for it.
2. Sys 573 is basically a PS1.
3. How will you be able to put a USB interface in a ps2 mem slot?
I just got an Idea sort of. In theory, if you where to wire the PS2 memory card slots (And controller port, too) into the DDR machine USB interface (Like, take out the PS1 ports and replace them with the black PS2 ports) Wouldn't it work as a PS1 slot?

Nope. There's a completely different controller interface chip for the memory cards when operating in PS1 mode.
This is why DDRMAX and higher cannot read/write to PS1 cards directly.

I believe their intent was to add slots that are compatible with PS2 memory cards, not simply the plastic molding from a PS2.

Ok, so i now get to operate a DDR 5th mix machine.
It has slots... Kinda... we dont have the power cord...
Since im alowed to play with its internals, where can we find the power cord for it?

I got myself a pocketstation, but the only machines we have around here is extreme, and im not sure the slots work.
So two questions:
1.) What can I do (if anything) with my pocketstation and extreme, and what data would I need on it from my home versions.
2.) Can I get unlocks on the arcade extreme With home data?
