Yay for you! thumb.gif
I guess speed modifiers can help with PAing, but I see those as a way to cheat.

I always put the speed mods way up, cause I played stepmania (with the keyboard) for about a month before I started playing on an actual dance pad, so I got pretty good at reading the arrows. I play most songs on 3x, and the fast ones on 2/1.5x.

Well, I personally don't use speed mods, but I know how they can help and everything. I really don't blame u for usin 2x on Secret Rondezvous (probably hardest 7-footer ever, at least to PA). I use 2x on Quasar on Stepmania biggrin.gif , but that's probably the only time I use speed mod...I'm w/ GARY...it's like cheating E15.gif . Nah its just the easy way out...uhh usually. But, so I'm not just totally flamin u for usin speed mods, if u do, great cuz it will more than help u w/ PA. man... Secret Rondezvous is probably the 1 7-footer I actually have trouble AAing... ( i mean is it just me or is that really hard for a 7?)

Yeah, I like playing speedy songs cranked up to 1.5/2, and slow songs... well, that depends on how slow we're talking, but usually also on 2, sometimes 3 if it is ridiculously slow, aka Sana Molette No Ente.

lol once again...probably in the range of hardest for its foot level. i could do most other eights and some 9's and it took me FOREVER to figure out the beat of the steps. I guess it's too ez sped up to make a 9 tho...

I never use speed mods, except for So deep and Cartoon Heroes. For some reason I can't pass those very well without 1.5x. Hmm. I need to work on changing that. I think speed mods are cheating too. Bag is NOT a 10 footer on 3x and that goes for some other songs too. However, I saw a person do Maxx Unlimited on 1.5x and that's just crazy.

The way I usually set speed modifiers;
if it's over 180bpm then it's at 1.5x ,
over 120 bpm then it's at 2X,
and if it's at 100bpm or lower I set it to 3-5x..

But generally, I try to take each song down to 1x once I'm confident I can do it. I've done bag with 5x, it's too goddamn easy. So Deep on 2x is too easy too.

Well, i was about to type out all kinds of things... but the reason for this thread starting isn't exactly doing anything except ledging into the speed mod discussion which is I believe in the gameplay section of the fourms.
