Just be sure to apply the "Kids In America" patch described in the latter part of the thread. The bumper pack that the thread links to has KIA listed with a static BPM when in fact it changes slightly due to the live drummer in the song (the song is 22 years old).
Before anyone asks, the problem doesn't show up in "YMCA" because the Village People re-recorded the song...I dunno if they did it specifically for the game or not, but the re-recording uses electronic percussion. I do know, however, that the original version recorded in 1979 has a wildly fluctuating BPM that would have been hell to code steps for.

In my page there are more than 4000 individuals songs as you want DDR and DWI original. (as the full packs too)
but you have to pay $5 USD for the download access.
(a good service needs support, i cant have my site up whitout this  )
The DDRLA SM Originals are free for everyone.

Is totally legal, I am charging the rigth to access to a specific section, no where in my page said that I AM SELLING THE FILES, these files are free, and if some one download it, will can do any that he wants with those files.
I do not use the donation because I dont want to.
As i said some persons have paid now i they are happy, any way one section is free -> DDRLA SM Original and there is some good files from my users. no register needed.
The only complication is pay, after that my web site i so easy to browse and find any file that you want.

just because you dont SAY youre selling the files doesnt mean you ARENT. i believe the definition of free is "not paying anything", so if you have to "pay something" to get the files, theyre not free. with the donate, people who want to help can do so, but youre not requiring anyone to pay, leaving the simfiles free. plus, has anyone actually signed up? i mean, there are plenty of places to get .dwis and .sms for free, plus theres always just asking people in the community. i cant see a reason why somone would pay 5$ for something thats completely free somewhere else.
edit: holy crap, a lot of people have. i feel sorry for them, quite frankly.

Wow It's been a while since I posted here.
Anyway, I'm working on a simfiles originals page for me. It'll have around 35 of my originals, 5 or so of those new and currently unreleased to the public. I'll also host my originals there and only there If it gets enough hits.
And if you haven't played any of my sims yet, they aren't in Bemanistyle's new server yet so just wait for the site.

I just say something....
if the content of Internet is Free ?
why billion of people HAVE TO PAY for a conection and get the content ?
Asnwer: Because the ISP have his own running costs and have to make money for pay they, and is legal.
the same with me... the content is FREE but MY WORK AND TIME is very precious, i give it for free i am happy with what i do, but i gift my time and work but i cant gift money because i haven't it allways, so i charge the SERVICE, is a BASIC RULE OF BUSINESS, if the other people wants to GIFT they money and work I dont have to do the same.
I wont keep this discussion here, is out of the topic !

I tryed geting the simfiles for DDR extremeUS from DDRUK, but it said it would take 7 and a half hours. My computer denied it almost instantly. Is there anywhere else I can find them?
EDIT: Nevermind. It must've been down for a little while. I got it. |
