I'm with Maxx 9999 on this one; at one time I actually started running in part to help improve my stamina (the other part was because a friend coerced me into running). Right now I think I should start doing it again, just because I can't pass Max 300 yet.
At one point in time, I used to play DDR with ankle weights, too.

I'm a cross country runner as well. Just finished CWOSAA which is basically a qualifier for OFSAA.

I found that running definitely helped me with DDR since I dont get as tired, etc.

Yep, DDR helps with running. Thanks to it, I am a top runner in the good ol' state of New Mexico! I can't wait until the state meet!

DDR can definitely help with running as it helps to increase your stamina. While I'm no cross country runner, I've found that I can run around places and not get winded.
