RedOctane-like 8-panel Metal Pad: Product Link N/A
MSRP: N/A ($175->$225)
This is a "pirated" design of RedOctane's 6-panel pad, modified to support the remaining two panels as sensors. It otherwise has the same construction and characteristics of the RedOctane metal pad. _________________

You can on Stepmania but not anything else since they'll still be registered as 1P I believe. _________________

And also, what IS the point of the two down arrows?
It would be awsome if they made 8 arrow DDR
P.S. Sorry Baka, I forgot you can edit messages too >_< These forums are alot different than the ones I go to.

That'd need 9 sensors though, for the middle step? |

The purpose of double is to play across the surface of two pads, not switch diagonally on one... |

the bottom 2 arrows are only for the triangle and square button purposes... currently you cant use them for anything else unless you play computer versions. _________________

Question:
Is the pad I've linked below the same red octane "like" pad?
http://www.gameenhancer.net/
Is it any good?
It seems better priced than than some. I'm wondering if it's a good backup option if I don't get the CF pads, and if it's better than the TX-1000 or 2000 series? |

So wait...did you just order the one I posted a link to from game enhancer?
That's going to be interesting. I really wonder how it is, because the price is definitely alright compared to some of these other ones. |

If all goes well, I can post a review on it in a few days, then again I can't play anything above a 7 footer, so I suck. |
Awesome! I plan on going into their store location in Edmonton to pick 2 up in 2 or 3 weeks. If I could get your review on the pad before getting them, that would be excelellent!
Also, did you it from Gameenhancer? Or somewhere else?
*EDIT* I think he did order it from gameenhancer seeing as it was shipped from Edmonton, but you never know
*ANOTHER EDIT* It also says it has been delivered! |

Perhaps bumping the topic will get his attention? I would really appreciate a quick review of the pad before I purchase two...
*EDIT* PM Sent. Hopefully he will see it eventually.

GameEnhancer.net/Lucky97 is in Edmonton, yes.
You could try PMing him to ask him about it. _________________
