Can you use the CF decal set if one of your arrows got broken on an RO pad? _________________

No, they're the only thing I've seen. They're $20 or something. _________________

i want to try to make it more sensitive but when i talked to one of RO customer service guy, he said that the pad will get more sensitive as you play on it, but now i don't really want to play on it as hard anymore fearing that arrows will crack again. |

just out of curiousity, do you play on your RO pad with or without shoes? I'm just thinking that might contribute to the wearing on the arrows.
And weight probably makes a difference too..
btw, MaxXSakura, I love your avatar |

Ok, I bought one of these pads, and I really like it, but the bottom arrow isn't registering anymore.... How do I go about cleaning the receptors in the pad? What should I use, and how should I go about doing this? |

I bought this pad maybe two months ago, I'd say.
Sure, it worked like a wet dream when I first had it.
Faulties
-I played a few catas on it today and the R arrow has a crack (on the underneath side, it hasn't found it's way up to the surface yet). I'm not a hard stepper either, and I dont play with shoes (Oh man. I broke a RO rule!).
-If you play some really hard hard songs on it, it will start to get worse and worse in responsiveness, but a day later or so (after it's given a "rest" I like to call it) it will come back to full life.
The images RedOctane show on their website are so off. My control box was just normal black, and the green corner arrows had A and B in them. And yes, I ordered it straight from redoctane.com _________________

Hmmm...Hearing alot of complaning. About your control box being pure blakc and A and B being on the arrows all I can say is you got ripped. I got mine from Redoctance.com as well The control box was a nearly transparent kickin red box.. and the Top left and right arrows were Diagnol Arrows.
About the guy with the playing cata's...you must be heavy(no offense) I play Matsuri Japan, The MaxX's, Dead End, The Paranios, In the NAvy, So deep and such (mostly 9's) with my shoes on.. I must say I stomp that pad pretty damn hard. I've NEVER had a cracked arrow.
The Sensitivity is kick buttocks. It's virtually perfect.. Though after a while it will begin to squak maybe....If you play alot. Also sometime when you play in your socks and hit between the top left or right and middle arrows...yea that hurts like a mother.
The only problem I've had wit the pad is the Cords underneath the left arrow keep's breaking. I'm on pad #3 and each one has the same problem...Left arrow bad cord after about 3-4 weeks of preety fluent play.
I suggest When you get it unscrewing the arrows and securing the wires underneath.. Also if you hit the edge of the arrow it seldom registers, but that's just the very edge which I often hit.
Hope this helps. _________________

My friend is not heavy and when he was playing on his RO Pad the arrows still cracked. Therefore, it's not weight issues. _________________

I'm strongly considering getting this pad, but one thing that struck me in the product description was how it weighs 40 lbs! Has the weight of this pad ever given you guys problems? (I have to move my pad around a lot because maids come in to clean my house) _________________

Mine came in about a week or two, but was ordered back in August. I sent it back recently due to some sensitivity issues. They're out of stock now, but they're supposed to have some by the end of November. We're not alone, my friend ordered a Cobalt Flux 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped.
The 4-6 should be how long it takes to get your door, based on what they've told me. |

4-6 days I hope that means..
It took 3 days for mine to ship AND get to my door. It's probably just because of the holidays. _________________

Is the RO Pad as good as the CF pad? I've had my RO for a few months now. The RO works pretty good. It's not broken in that much though, since i cant use it in my upstairs apartment. :( Thx in advance :thumb: _________________
