Mm. Usually it's just silly things:

After putting up a quarter/token on the machine - when it's the only one there - random person number one who happens to be standing on the other pad while doing nothing always asks, "Are you next?"

Random bystander number four, after I've completing any song, asks, "How do you know what to do?"

Things like that. They all speak for themselves.

The one I hate the most, that shouldn't even deal with DDR? "Are you a boy or a girl?" Nobody would understand what's behind that, though. ^^

when I used to play as a pioneer here (I was like, the second person to ever step over a DDR machine in my town) people used to ask me stuff like... "so, how do you know where to step", which is really no big deal as people don´t instantly know how this works (why? I don´t know), but what really pissed me off was when after I explained how to play DDR they´d ask: "and what´s the point to it?"

maybe... and just maybe... you could have fun while playing it?!

The stupidest question ive ever been asked about DDR is...
"Where do you stand to play the game, behind this bar??"

Seriously, the guy was in the front of the crowd watching for like 20 mins and he doesnt even know the general area of where to stand?

I would've interpreted it the other way (ie, he wanted to make sure a Heavy player would want to play with someone who only played Standard)

Personally a lot of those questions wouldn't bother me that much. i don't see anything wrong with people who don't know how to play, but are intrigued by the players.

The only thing that really bothers me is when the PIU players come in and go "This game is a joke, I do heavy on Pump" and they never even try DDR. I think if people say "How did you get so good?" I feel like.. heehhe omg ego trip..

Or when like, a big group of drunk guys come in and watch and say "HEY DANCER GIRL LOL LOOK U DANCE DANCE DANCE OMGOSH"

but those aren't really questions. Anyone who asks just wants an answer, and I mean, what's so wrong with that?

its not so much that the questions are stupid, but the timing was off. if someone just watched you play, and then ask "how do i play", that would warrant a

. if you're in a song and someone asks you somethin or sticks their head in front of you, that is rude and requires a

and a slap.

if someone comes up at any time and asks "why is there a screen", thats just stupid and warrants a

. if someone comes up and says "i can do that no problem" in a cool voice, and fails their first song on light, that would require a

. if someone asks if you are chinese and you are obviously NOT, they are subtly being bastards.

but authentic questions about gameplay or practicing are great.
