Hi:
I have a metal dance pad for PS2 and yesterday I bough a cheap PS2 to XBOX converter to play Ultramix.Well, I got what I paid for, cause it did not work. I failed the song almost right away. I then tried to adjust the controller type on the Ultramix options (type C, type E,etc), but without sucess. Any reason for this? Thanks _________________

I use a Game Elements converter (PS2 to Xbox/GCN) for my metal pad and it works fine. Which one did you buy?
As for the controller type...no idea. It probably is just your converter.

Where's the best place to buy a PS2 to Xbox converter?
What's the best brand?
I'm looking for a metal pad, but they're all PS2 based....so I'm going to need one of these no matter which pad I buy. |

Many of them provide or allow for dual-platform control boxes. My metal pads initially came with PSX control boxes, but dual-platform boxes were later made available. _________________

Sorry...I should rephrase.
My front runners all seem to be PS2 based or favor the PS2 in one way or the other (they have the X and circle button on the pad instead of A, B, Y or X).
I know you can get a converter box for some of them, but it doesn't seem to be the standard. Cobalt Flux (which is supposedly the best) doesn't seem to have an Xbox converter at all.
Anyway...bottom line is, I'm new to this conversion gig...and I'm looking for the best option for the Xbox converter for a dance pad. |

The RedOctane ignition dance pad (dual platform edition) works like a charm for both PS2/XBOX _________________
