It's annoying to have to deal with, too. Do you know how many EX-US Mission Mode threads have been locked and reposted for that shish? |

Yep...that's usually what happens anyway. Some retarded noob shows up in the almost empty arcade. You're playing your usual set and not doing bad, but not your best either. You figure it doesn't matter. No one is there to watch anyways. You turn to hear: "Is that hard?" "WTF??", you say to yourself. "You see me sweating blood don't you?! I'm freaking doing something that only a handful of people on Earth can conceive of!" You get off the pad after your songs, slightly annoyed, and go to the changer for more tokens. By the time you get back to the machine, the noob is on beginner mode. Your jaw drops as the noob hops and flinches to the painfully slow and few arrows of Butterfly. Behind the noob is a huge crowd of people, from out of nowhere, with a look of astonishment and wonder on their faces. "Wow! Look at that!" "Cool!" And the nail in the coffin: "He's/She's good!" After what seems like an eternity, the noob steps of the pad and goes over to the Soul Calibur machine. You hurredly, but cooly, pop in your tokens. You are eager to show the crowd how to really play. You turn around to gauge the size of your audience, and.........nobody. Everyone has scattered or vanished. No one is in sight of the DDR machine. Ahhh!!!! It makes me want to scream! |
Wow, that has happened to me so many times it isn't even funny. I remember there were these 2 really hot girls watching some guy on Light fail his first song, so I was like hey I'll go up there and do like Max 300 (heavy) or sumthin. So I pick Max 300, while they are still there, add 1.5x on and when I am just about to start, they leave . |

How could I forget questions that constantly plagued me in the 5th Mix days?
"Hey, which character has the best stats?"
"This sux! They're not fighting! Those guys were breakdance-fighting on Zoolander!"
"This is not Zoolander and you are not Ben Stiller!"
I also love these people who play one home version, suddenly think they're a Bemani guru, and try to show off their seemingly boundless "knowledge" to you.
"Yeah, I got US Extreme, and, you know, I have to say US before it because Japan's got one too, and anyway, that Maximizer is some easy shit. Those Japanese guys have a song called Max Period and it's 600 BPM and impossible to see, so even Yasu and JSB can't AAA it. Ooh, did you know they've AAA'ed everything? So if even he can't AAA that song, no one can, and--"
"So, have you played it?"
"Well no, I--"
"Go home."

Someone asked me today- "So what, you just step on the arrows?"
That struck me as dumb for some reason. Mainly because the side of the display monitor says "STEP ON THE ARROWS WHEN THEY GET HERE" Or something to that efffect.
Wow. Just...wow. |

"You must have this at home" So? Doesn't make it that much easier.

Wouldn't it be easier to just answer the question than have to stand there and listen to Graduation 3 times in a row? |
I told her, but that was just my initial reaction, kinda like, "you gotta be kidding me..." |

The only question that annoys me (which I get fairly often) is "Are you gay?" To which I reply, "Why no. Are you?"
Disclaimer: I have nothing against gay people. However, I feel it fitting to take the words that an insecure homophobe has given me and twist them around into what he would take as in insult, but in reality is merely a harmless question. Just to clear that up. XD _________________

"Wow, I can do that so easily."
"Sooo...you step on the arrows when they light up?"
"Do you make up your own steps when you play this game."
"Are you obsessed with this game?"
"How long have you been playing?"
Most questions I just answer and don't think anything of it. But sometimes they can get quite annoying. _________________

This isn't really a question or whatever, just a comment I hate.
Some Random Person Who Has Never Seen The Game Before: "Wow. You're really good."(And I get like a crappy score on a song)
I don't mind that so much if it is someone who actually knows the concept of the game and PA. It just irks me greatly when they don't know poopy about the game. |

Q. So do you look at the little pads and when they light up you press them?
A. No, you idiot *slap* that's why they have a bloody screen.
After they see you play some song... and like AA it
Q. Can you play LoM on 8x, Stealth backwards and like AAA it?
A. .... *leaves* _________________

i'm kinda scared of people, so upon being approached my initial thought is to bail to a safe location. my response is usually a quick smile, nod, and a mad dash to the water fountain.
"DANG BOY, ye trainin fer somethin?"
"come here often, eh?"
"do you know (x player from a random mall in the city)?"
I'm gonna take the opportunity of this annoying question thread to ask you all one that's been bugging me. In the Sakura video, is it Alice standing there amongst the falling flowers? _________________
