|
|
Ive been looking at the sticky thread about adapters, but its a lot of reading to do, and I dont have the patience to sit there and read through any more of those pages. No one has had my problem in the 6 or so pages that I read...So anyways. I just got my cobalt flux pad in the mail today, and I had my smartjoy usb converter from a while back when i had a red octane metal dance pad. The thing is, plugging it in makes the computer do the usual USB "plugging in device" sound, but it doesnt install anything. I dont know how id install anything either, its supposed to be plug and play. Please dont tell me this is the wrong forum, because the console people only pointed me towards the damn sticky thread - something that doesnt even HELP my problem. Any suggestions? |

it's not the wrong forum...it's the wrong thread
and supposedly the smart joy plus does not recognize the cobalt flux PS2 joybox. that WAS in the sticky, though probably somewhere in the middle. also, right on the front page I wrote "may not be compatible with metal pads" so there you go. if you get it working, lemme know what you did, but I don't think it's going to work for you. |

what thread should you be asking in?
look for a parallel port adapter, and quit posting in this thread. ALL ADAPTER QUESTIONS GO THERE, after all. |

Yes, if you would have read anything I've written relating both CFs and SJPs, you would know that they don't work together. Get a parallel port adapter or whatever adapter it is that's suggested on CF.com's forum whose name I'm too lazy to look up. _________________
