um, there's a difference between taking someone elses midi and saying it's your own and arranging a song from scratch (I am most definitely doing the latter). there is no law against making an arrangement of a piece that's copyrighted. trust me, what I'm doing is perfectly legal. and just so you know, cakewalk automatically slaps the copyright on there in my name, so it's obviously legal unless you're suggesting a company could get away with including that feature for 10 years without getting caught
it's my own work, I am not stealing any midi file to do a given song. most of the songs that have been asked for don't have midis floating around that I've seen anyway, so I obviously HAVE to do the work from scratch.
my copyright is on the arrangement, not on the original song, got it? |

Google a program known as Midi Notate. It's a cheap program that writes sheet music from midi files that are mostly easy to find on the internet. The results won't be as good as Syncognition's, but it should hold you up while you wait. |

I been music by ear like couple year now.
I can play the following song on Piano adding the bass which blends really good on piano. My best ones are:
Moonlight Shadow
Legend of Max
Songs Im working on but half or most done:
Budam
Broken my Heart
Cartoon Heroes
Pink Rose
Frozen Ray
Romance (from GF/DM)
Ukifuni (from GF/DM)
Tomorrow Perfume
Maxx Unlimited
I keep updated for more song but I not good at writing music though.

OniCourseMusha, if you can get a copy of moonlight shadow, that would be great. (for Piano) I play the clarinet but its very easy to transpose from piano to clarinet. I just wonder what that would sound like though. _________________

I'd love to see paranoia jazzy groove, whoever is doing that!
Actually, could someone do the normal paranoia sheet music for me? I'm going to make a slower, more "smooth" paranoia remix. Actually, does anyone have the voice samples used in that song for that matter? |

. . . anyone who can actually play that is crazy. I can only play the first 4 measures, and the key signature is insane (at least for me).
Or maybe I just suck at piano. That's probably it. |
Its not hard to read or play except dealing memorizing the black keys while playing. Some part doesnt sound like the one I heard on DDR or other Bemani. _________________

I'm sorry, but do you think you could get around to doing Gentle Stress(original) from Club mix? I would love to play that song on piano. Luckily, the entire song is on the piano in the first place pretty much. LOL. |

I printed it out and I play it on Xylophone. I can get through about the first 16 measures.... It hurts. Thank god for my marching band chops. _________________

That's cool triplefortesquared, I was wondering if you can convert it into sheet music , haha....
If anybody can make sheet music and upload it, then can you please post it up here?
Sycognition, great job on what you have so far, if you somehow can't upload it, you can try to have your won web page and try to upload there, hope it works, but if you already tried that, I guess you have to try another way, good luck _________________

sorry all, I'm really busy with school and I haven't been working on this as much. writing takes a long time like I said before, so please be patient. a lot of this music doesn't translate well over to keyboard, so I'm trying to make it sound alright... |
