What is your favorite Arcade mix?

I would say 3rd mix, but only because there are no songs by Erotic on Max2. I play Extreme, but I don't really like it very much.

I love 5th Mix and Extreme the most. 5th Mix for all those fun songs, and Extreme for, well, ah heck it's obvious why!

I must say...I love 5th. I started on that mix...then it goes extreme, and then max2.

It's just a lot better than most of the new generation game

and before any of you say "0MGF Y DIDNT U 54Y 3X7R3M3!!!11111", I didn't pick Extreme because it has almost no variety music-wise, and has an interface that burns your eyes when you look at it. Plus the fact that it is way too overated.

DDR 2nd Mix with BM IIDX Substream Club Version 2

Definately my favorite. And the first one I got started on.

Good luck finding one now though.

Out of the ones still in circulation, I would say 5th or Extreme.

Well, I just recently started playing in the arcade (after practicing on my X-box for about 4-5 month). All in all, I've only played 4 arcade mixes, so I'll stick to them:

4th Mix - Pretty good selection of good ol Euro Dance songs (which I love). Unfortunately, the location I played it at had the volume turned down so low, you couldn't hear well enough to play:(

5th Mix - This would be my favorite as far as song selection goes. Plenty of E-rotic, Smile.dk, Captain Jack and one of my favorite all-time songs... Moonlight Shadow!

Max2 - I like this one but it lacks the Euro classics I love so much and doesn't have the nice extra features of Extreme.

Extreme - Definately my favorite as far as features go! I really love the continuous mode. Also has a pretty good selection of songs, including several of my fav's from Ultramix, like "Heaven is a..." & "Drop the bomb".

So, for me it's a tough call between 5th mix & Extreme, but they're both really good. The thing is, I've got a Max2 machine 10 minutes from my house, and Extreme about 20 minutes away, but the nearest 5th mix is about 45-60 minutes away:(

ddr extreame is the best it has so many diffrent songs lots of viraity and it has 3 maxxes and like a million PARONiA songs bot one is missing ....... MAX. (peroid)

MAX. (period) is a japanese home version exclusive, thats why its not on a machine. we're getting our own exclusive max for the US when extreme (US) comes out for the ps2. (its not LoM)

anyway 8th is my favorite ^^
started on a 5th, but id rather play on a 7th or 6th

I like a lot of the fun hard stages from Extreme, but 4th Plus had the better song selection. But there's only one mix like...

SOLO 2000!!!

Extreme has the most songs, so I like it just for the sake of variety. And oni courses. And a bunch of 10s I can work on not failing.

Then would probably come MAX 2, for a lot of the same reasons.

After that... hm... MAX? MAX or 4th+, maybe 5th. I really don't know there.

5th Mix is ok because it has some fun songs on it

But of course, i like extreme the most cause of all the hard/challenging songs and like the majority of them arent gay
