It's just a messed up coin door... there used to be a machine like that here... they replaced the coin door. |

True, its just that I have NEVER been to a Tilt that was worth a damn. Been to about 5 of them. None worth going out of my way for. Either way, i'll stick to Disney Quest for all my pump needs:) |

I can give you two reasons why I moved on to DDR after playing PIU:
1. I liked DDRs music better (Started with 5th Mix, and heard songs like Matsuri Japan, Electro Tuned, Leading Cyber, nuff said)
2. EVERYONE ELSE was playing DDR and PIU lost it's popularity instantly in the arcade I play in, so I just went ahead and followed the crowd to see what was so good about it, and ended up liking the music selection better. |
SO WRONG.
PIU PWNED DDR in VIETNAM, I dare you to find a wroking DDR machine in Ho Chi Minh City, either the store manager replace it with a PIU or pumper stormed that machine to death ..in 2000 DDR were really popular, but now they're nearly gone instinct.
I'm a DDRer first and I found no problem migrating to PIU ( a bit awkward at first,) , and I love both game |

I started playing Pump it Up 2 years ago. The first mix I played was Premiere 1... I started playing DDR this year... I don't play it nearly as much as Pump it Up... reasons being
-It features the word Dance in the title but at heart it is a stepping game... none of the steps have any freestyle thought put into them... then again the up,down, left, right set up does not work very well for freestyling... it is possible to freestyle on it but with lots of trouble
I like the music on DDR but I also like the music on Pump it Up... so thats not an issue...
Overall... I wish they had of joined forces and continued Technomotion... then there would be no need for this senseless which is better crap. |

I'm almost starting to like Pump more than DDR now. *gasp*
I even sold my DDR pad and am saving up for a Pump pad!
But I was wondering, does anyone have a working Prex3 mod (PC) that includes Exceed songs? Please post ASAP!! |

I had one but deleted it without playing many of the Exceed songs... reason being Exceed belongs in the arcade... keep it there. |

You could just download the Exceed KIU files, which is easier to do anyway. Besides, you lose a lot of the fun in Exceed songs by not playing them with the background.. at least in KIU, you get the BG's image. _________________

Eh. I like Pump It Up. My friend has Perfect Collection I think and she just got the new one the other day. Prex3 or something like that. I have no clue. So I*ve played it like 6 times. We play it on Hard Mode. I*m pretty good at it but I like DDR better. Our arcade has a PIU too. My favorite songs are Turkey March, Black Cat, Cordiality, Passion, Come to Me, Come to Me 101, and some others that I forgot the name. And in Come to me 101 [[i think thats what its called]] on the new version of PIU that she just got, its neat cuz it has Freezes and you*ll have to hold down 2 arrows with your feet and do stuff with your hands. Fun fun fun.
DDR is still better tho |

I like both equally. For freestyle and doubles, Pump is way better though, cause the arrows make the steps feel more natural. |

I just got a Pump pad and Prex3.
I also found the exceed patch thing. Its pretty awesome. The interface isn't different, but it has all of the songs from Exceed in it.
A quote from the website:
"WORLD'S FINEST DANCE SIMULATION GAME!
Lets' parch huge wave that come bamboo blind finally and moves Exceed makes commutator of pump history. With splendid 3d animation Sweat course zeal of selected carefully a lot of musics, and manufacture teams of 109 musics was filed."

I guess it can be called the worlds finest dance simulator by the fact that : it has a little something for everyone in terms of steps... where as to other dance games seem to cater toward steppers... with the exception of Technomotion.... but newer Pump it Up mixes seem to be turning into stepper fest... I don't even like Exceed... lol
Premiere 2 all the way! |

yeah I hate arcade owners attitudes when it comes to games...
Guitar Freaks 7th... it's got a 7 on it! It must be better than 6!
Pump it up Premiere 3! It's got a 3! It must be better than 2!
do these dummies do research before they buy stuff? We even have a DDR Extreme Plus bootleg an hour away from here... who would pay $500 for one add on : Rush mode.... |

pretty damn good if you ask me... I play on mine a lot and it's been a year and it's still working perfectly fine... depending on what surface your playing on and how clean you keep it, it will slide or turn.. I play on tile and don't have that problem unless it's not cleaned... however I have played on carpet and it slides all over hell on that... lol |
