Where?

I generally think Konami did a pretty good job with pauses...they definitely need to be used conservatively.

Spin the Disc. It had so much potential to be a tricky, yet fun song with all of those scratches and stops.... But I guess Konami was just really lazy. :/

Wrong!!! The developers should have been a lot more creative with tempo changes and freezes. They express the songs better. And to think that were used sparingly makes me mad. frust.gif

To whoever said Dive: I wholeheartedly agree. Fun song, but it desperately needs a pause.

Just play So Fab So Fierce.

I can tell you what songs didn't need a pause in it:

321 Stars
Kiss Me All Night Long
Bad Routine
Miracle Moon is debatable

And where would they put the pause in Spin The Disc?

No,no,no, Bad routine needs that pause there and Spin the Disc could have a freeze on pretty much all the parts with sixteenth-beat arrows.

Anyways, I really think DIVE needs a pause, aspecially the deep & deeper style.

The only one I don't think should have a pause is ECSTASY. So long... been waiting... getting old... becoming the guy in AFRONOVA... ghost.gif

In Sweet Sweet Love Magic, the pause threw me off big time. There's a really unwelcome pause. I also think bag could've used a pass. Not because its tiring, but because my eyes hurt when I try to read those arrows.

The pause in Ecstacy makes sense blink.gif .

And if you want to understand why more pasues does not express the songs better," go download the TM5 song Omega. *shudder*

if i think there should or shouldn't be a pause in a song, i put one in via stepmania. insertion's pause is too long, lom's pause is too short, bad routine's pauses are confusing...bad routine left alone. r&p should have a pause after each of the skips at the end...taken care of. kakumei, after that run...taken care of. bethoven virus, even though it's not a ddr song, should have a pause. and i agree with cynic on spin the disk.
