well you'd notice it more psychologically, but in the long run you aren't doing anything to your muscles that's really beneficial. you're adding resistance to your motion, which builds strength mostly, and speed as a side effect. what you are probably feeling is more of a physical difference. lift a 5lb weight for 5 minutes, then lift a pencil...you probably didn't get that much stronger, but you're noticing the difference in weight and it seems easier. in the end, foot speed, agility, strength, and stamina all require different workouts to improve. luckily, just playing DDR will slowly help build speed stamina and agility well, though physical strength doesn't come incredibly fast with DDR playing. |

Hey, I've got a question...
Yesterday, I did something I'd never done before...
I played Max 300 6 times in a row
I did other stuff as well, but I think the Max 300 6 times in a row is the main thing.
Anyway, today, my legs and feet are absolutely sore beyond belief, and I took the entire day off from playing at all...even though I got me this brand new pad and have it all hooked up to stepmania with over 900 songs, I took the day off to rest because...yep, I'm THAT sore
Was there any beneficial purpose to this at all, or did I just basically, throw away a day of possible DDR playing? I mean, I suppose it could be helpful for stamina, but what's the point of building up my stamina if it means I won't be able to play?

sicides are runs that you do from one side of the room to another......more like 20 wides...you run from each end only touching the line and then heading back to the other side to do the same thing. _________________

That's kind of weird, because for me, my leg muscles don't hurt at all while I'm playing - I only physically hurt when I get blisters, and that's it. Most of my tiredness is just getting winded and not being able to breathe (and thus, concentrate) properly. _________________

Only when I play a hard DDR song do my legs hurt, but usually they don'ty just hurt. They also collapse. |

Play Endless or Nonstop Mode. You get practice at DDR while getting some good cardio exercise. |

Play Healing vision 3 times and AA the last round so u can do maxx 300
Rinse and repeat. |
