i cplayed AMPLITUDE and i felt it was OK and deserves another installment. I felt it was good because people in the US dont get very good rythym games but super hardcore rythym gamers i thing would be better off with like beatmania or somethin.

hmm well if they are infact under a contract with konami they should still continue to persue the idea of a new release (amp arcade anyone?) especialy if they made a controller and everything

Personally I'd rather have an IIDX USA than a new Frequency mix. And since I don't see that happening... ever, I'll just have to complain about there not being a new Frequency game. E13.gif

Iunno about that "Konami contract" thing, but if Konami's music and Frequency's premise collided, the world would explode.

Meh, I've played it, and I never liked it much. I sat down to play it recently, beat some level four experts on my first try, and said, "Y'know, there's not enough level of complexity in the notes."

I don't like that you're only playing one track at once. The multiple threads is what makes Beatmania IIDX (and hell... Drummania) so fun to me. You have a lot to think about at once.

Playing the stuff in Frequency bores me out of my mind.

That's true for me too. I like playing Freq/Amp, but the songs aren't good enough and the game isn't fun enough for me. I can play BM/DDR for a long time.

No way frequency had the better music. Its techno and its all underground stuff that mostly everyone that plays frequencty, never heard before playing. Thats why i like it.
