I love doing endless mode on heavy and I play it for about 2 hours straight until I can barely move. It's so much fun, and after my heartrate comes back down I feel so great for about an hour or two after. But sometimes I'll feel like Naruto after one of his all day sessions and almost passout on the floor, lol. What's even worse is, after about 3-4 hours I try to do it all over again. biggrin.gif

Does anyone else do this? Or am I being obsessive?

A little under a year ago, when I played Standard, I came across the first EX Machine I'd ever seen, and was very eager to try it. So eager, I played 39 straight songs without stopping.

I ended up barfing (how's that for dedication ? laugh.gif ) about 10 minutes after I finished the set, but, hell, it was fun.

I can't say I've done anything like that yet. I don't like to play endless mode anyways.

Er...well, I played six games one right after another, which isn't quite Nonstop, but it's as close as you can get on a MAX2 machine. I was quite tired afterward. laugh.gif

Yep. Been there, done that. Four and a half hours at Alpine. Whoo. Fun times. My legs hurt for two days after that. I even went and soaked my feet for two hours when I got home..still didn't help.

I'd say that playing for long periods of time isn't obsession, I think it's devotion and perserverance (spelling?) to get better or to have more fun each passing second...

Me and four or so of my friends played Ultramix for about 14 or so hours after one of my friends got it. It was the first time any of us had ever gotten a chance to stomp the arrows, so I guess we were pretty enthused E13.gif.

I generally play for several hours at a time (I generally spend $30-50 a week at the arcade), but one time, I was playing at my friend's college with a bunch of our friends. I played constantly enough and for a long enough time to literally collapse (it was after about 6 or 7 hours of playing heavy). I was playing, and my legs just sort of gave out, and then I was on the floor, and that was it. It was fun, though, except that I could hardly walk the rest of the night.

My friends and I played for 2 and a half hours on the extreme machine at the arcade and then we played for 4 hours on max2 and then another 2 hours on Konamix. I felt like I was going to die. We were going to play DDRMax but we were all dead. riiight.gif

A couple of weeks ago me and some friends went to an anime lock-down at a civic center in Mississippi. It was awesome because they had a couple arcade DDR machines hoked up there. I played from about 1:00 to about 4-5 A.M. I have never had so much fun in my life. I didn't even go to the anime screenings...me and my friends just stayed there and got high off the DDR! WEEEEEEE!
