How often do you play/How long have you played?

I'm glad she gave it a shot... my generation needs to be a little more adventurous when it comes to this stuff. There's another guy on the boards here (MikeK) who's even older than I am...

I play about 5-7 days a week.

I usually play for at least an hour, but sometimes up to 3,4, or even 5 hours.

I've been playing home versions since September of '03, and arcade for only a couple months.

I'm 14 male, not a lot of kids i know play, some times I'll see kids a couple years older than me sometimes, but I've only seen girls play at our arcade once.

...anyways, it sucks no girls play where you are. I understand that girls are slowly infiltrating the ddr scene, but I'm torn as to how fast I want it to happen. I mean, I like being one of the best girls I know

well, I play 7 days a week, I usally try to make 2-3 visits to the arcade (a day) to play, and when I play at the arcade, I play about 3-4 times. Yet, when I play at home, I can't really count how many times I play when I'm playing DDR on my PS 2. I've been playing for about 10 months now, I'm 17 and most people my age play DDR where I live...

Whenever friends are over? - I usually play at least twice a week at the arcade, plus once a week or so on my ghetto post-it note DDR pad, and then I play almost constantly on the keyboard. But, since school starts tomorrow, I'll be at the arcade 5x week. What.

If you play daily, how much time do you spend playing? - I usually play at least two games, but I depends on how much money I have. If I have a spare five dollars, I play five dollars' worth of games (ten games, thirty songs). At home, since my floor is really unstable, I can only play a few songs before stuff starts falling off shelves. D: On Stepmania, well, I almost always have it running, and whenever there's a lull in AIM conversations, I play a song or two.

How long have you played? Have you played for a few years, or did you just start last week? - I've played DDR since April 9, 2004. I played Pump for a few weeks before that, but never really got that good, so it doesn't count.

I moved to Standard in early June, and then to Heavy in midJune.

Random side bonus: How old are you? Do many people your age play? - I'm 16, and, yes, a lot of people my age play. But, like you said, there aren't too many other girls who play. I've seen maybe three girls who play on Heavy, excluding me, and I think I'm actually better than all three now. Wow, that's kind of weird.

I play about twice a week at the arcade, usually I see my friends there. I've been playing for about 2 years. I'm 15, and most of my friends are a little younger or a little older than me.

Well when I go to the arcade I usually spend about 5 bucks a day. So about 20 dollars a week.

About once a month for 30 min. I only play when im really bored, or if theres a big crowd.

Well, I work at an arcade. So whenever I show up at work I play. I don't get to play for free but it's only 50 cents a play(well I play for free sometimes

), compared to some other places in the area (75 cents, $1 per play) When I am at work, I play on and off. Anywhere from 5-20 games in a given day. Umm I have been playing for about 3 weeks now, it'll be one month this saturday.

Well, i'm in the Mesa area, so if anyone wants to meet at an arcade to play just post sumthin on the MGL board (under Southwest). Peace Yall

I play at the arcade about 5 days a week, 1-3 hours usually. It depends on if I'm just playing or if I'm hanging out with people between games and stuff.

I've been playing almost four months. In the first two to three months I played MUCH more because I played a lot at home. All I really use my home pad for is practicing 10s, otherwise it screws up my PA at the arcade.

I'm 18, most of the people who play where I do are 14-early 20s so I'm pretty much in the middle. I see more guys (like myself) play than girls but it's probably about a 60/40 split. Most of the girls who play just have fun on standard or easy heavy songs though (even if they're capable of doing much harder songs).

I play DDR whenever I'm at an arcade that has it. Sometime when I'm over at my friends house, we'll walk over to an arcade that has an DDR Extreme machine with about 10$

I started DDR last June, so I'm just a kid who can hardly pass 6 footers
