ok, just so you guys know, I have so deep done, I just need to print it off and scan it and upload it to photobucket. expect it sometime tomorrow. I really hope you guys are good with a syncopated bass line and have a comfortable full-octave reach with your right hand...it's a bit tricky and I had to change some of the intervals because I doubt anyone has hands big enough or accruate enough to hit a perfect 15th jump 16th note at 140bpm comfortably.
and I'm still waiting to hear which song you want me to do Kaleigh...I'm sorry but I'm not doing all of those.
and Celebrate Nite should be done around the beginning of next week or sometime over this weekend...that one is a bit harder to figure out than So Deep. |

just to make it perfectly clear, I'm not GETTING the sheet music from anywhere for anyone. I'm listening to the song, probably about 2 seconds at a time and jotting down the notes in midi, then printing them and scanning them. please, no more requests until I get at least so deep, celebrate nite, and i feel... up. it is a very time consuming process and I don't want to dissappoint anyone by not getting their request done, so I will say when I can take on another song.
also, if it seems like I'm doing them out of order, that is simply because some songs are easier to figure out than others. So Deep was extremely easy. Celebrate Night is fairly tricky because of the rapping and sound effects that have no descernable pitch. I feel... will be hard for the modulated synth lines that I have to arrange into decent sounding piano music. also, I can't gaurantee that any of these are going to sound incredible because a lot of DDR songs rely on percussion to make them interesting.
please, no more requests from me until these songs are done and dusted. everyone will be a lot happier that way. |

I'm not sending you sheet music request. I'm just asking you could you teach me how to read music. Or at least find a site where I can learn? I have learned a bit in school, but I forgot it all. PLZ help! _________________

sorry I'm falling behind a bit...college registrations and whatnot are keeping me busy, but so deep will definitely be up tomorrow. it's printed off, I just need to bust out the scanner and upload it. expect delays on all the other songs...and I'll get to 5.1.1 as soon as I can after celebrate nite and i feel go up. |

yes it is done (said it already...I've actually played through it and it's pretty tricky. deceptively so because it looks simple), but I haven't uploaded it yet. I need to get my scanner working. |

Sorry, i meant uploaded, But anyways, I really appreciate what you're doing and I cant wait to hear how it sounds
Oh, and if there is anyone who can play guitar here, can you tab out Absolute(Rock Guitar)? I would but I have my guitar set in C tuning and I can't put it back in E because I have a Floyd rose tremolo and they are stupid, lol |

I'm probably going to get in some kinda trouble or whatever for mentioning this.....but there's midi files on the net somewhere for alot of DDR songs. (I will not tell you where to find them or how to find them....figure it out yourself) =P
But from what I remember, with some midi recorder, players or whatever they're called, you can print out the sheet music from them (which I think umm...that's what Syncognition doing this is probably doing or close).
Only warning is some midi files out there aren't all that accurate.
Note to Syncognition:
If anything before tryin the DDR ver of the song, if you have the Beatmania or Keyboardmania ver of the song listen to it (especially the KBM ver because it's geared more for the piano) _________________

the difference between what I'm doing and what you're suggesting I'm doing is copyright protection
I am making midi sequences, but that's how any notation program works. they are genuinely mine and require a lot of work, and are tagged with my copyright. I would say just go download noteworthy and print off midis, but very rarely are any of these playable because of interval problems and timing issues (since most people just record the sequences on a keyboard...I always do it note by note manually using a staff view.)
and most software that you can use for midi composition costs hundreds of dollars, so I doubt many people here will have any that isn't shareware with restrictions. if you would like to buy this software, there is noteworthy composer, Finale (VERY EXPENSIVE), and Cakewalk Pro Audio (which I use and is also very expensive). they all have their flaws. cakewalk is more for midi sequencing than producing high quality sheet music, Finale has problems with file formats but is awesome for creating good looking sheet music, and noteworthy composer has a horrible interface (IMO) and poor sequencing abilitys, but produces good looking sheet music as well. |

I use Noteworthy Composer... Not the bester interface, I agree, but it does work nicely with a standard keyboard.
I'm working on some DDR Sheet Music too. I'm currently working on some Paranoia Jazzy Groove, Ecstacy Midnight Blue Mix, and the crazy piano solo from A.
I'll put 'em here when I'm done. |
