What does everybody think about Karaoke Revolution Volume 2? I think the song selection is much better than the first. Whereas most of the songs in the first one were similar in difficulty, I notice there are some songs in this one that seem to be really easy (I got a platinum on "Sweet Home Alabama" on hard... I've never gotten platinum on hard before) or really difficult (just looking at them scare me).

Also, has anyone started compiling a list of unlockables?

I really like the game, I bought it tomorrow and it kicks buttocks. I like how the difficulty ranges, cause I'm not that good of a singer but I still have fun. The only songs that I can do on Expert or Hard are the 1 mic songs, but yeah - still good fun. E1.gif

I agree. There are hardly any songs I want to sing on the first one, but this second one is pretty good...

After having a karaoke 'party' last weekend, I can honestly say that I really appreciate the short-version songs a lot more. Also, my guests were a lot more interested in the songs from V2 [although there are a few from V1 that people wanted to play]. I like the variety, but I still have one complaint: There needs to be a more clearly labeled 'free mode'.

Also, I wish you could play the unlock songs in showtime mode...but that's just a nitpick. I like the additional characters that they put in [although they don't really 'matter' much]. The new cheats are pretty good too [who wouldn't want a pirate audience complete with seagull sound effects?].

I do sort of wish that they had done V2 as an append *only* to have both songlists on one game. Its not particularly cool to have to switch them out. I hope that maybe they'll eventually do KR in a way that you can have two mics hooked up at once and two different vocal-bars at the same time so you can have a head-to-head competition instead of alternating.
