Maximum Overdrive

You know the song. Yeah... you.ve probably heard it. You know. That song thats inbetween when your switching between Max300 and Maxx Unlimited. It's always been there but for some reason, no one really plays it. Why is that? Is it that you dont like the song? (I like the song) or is it the steps are not worth your time(i could beleive that).

Why does no one play Maximum Overdrive?

Neemo, after reading these 3 posts, I think the truth behind your statement of its lack of play has overwhelmed even me.

To be honest, it's funny that you guys haven't even heard of the song. It's not a new song, but I guess the fact that it IS between two very popular MAX songs almost makes Maximum Overdrive completely unnoticable. Of course, this only occurs in the ABC Sorting list, but everyone uses ABC. Then again, the song isn't all that appealing, at least to me, but that hasn't stopped any other song from being played...odd.

To make things short, the #1 reason why no one plays Maximum Overdrive is: It's between MAX 300 and MaxX Unlimited on the ABC Sorting list.

I see it all the time. But the thing is, everytime I see it I think of either Max300 or Max Unlimited because they are right beside it, making me completely ignore Maximum Overdrive. I've played it though, but only really because I needed to sumbit an NNR score

. It isn't special enough for me to look at it over Max300 or Max Unlimited, it just can't compete with either of these giants.

Meh, few people play Max Overdrive because it sucks, just like everything else by 2 Unlimited (except for Twilight Zone, that song's fun but only cause the steps go along with the music like in So Deep).

It's a decent song, but the steps kinda suck. It's one of those songs I'll play every once in a while, but it's just not fun enough to make it an every night song. Sorry.

I keep telling myself that I'll play it, but I keep putting it off, which is odd because I usually love stuff by 2 Unlimited. One of these days, I should leave a sticky-note in my pocket before I go to the arcade so I'll remember to play it whenever I reach into my pocket for coins.

I like Maximum Overdrive a lot. I like all the songs by 2 Unlimited. The steps are a nice 8. Its a pretty likeable songs and a play it a bit when I'm playing Max2.

No one plays it because of proximity. If you get that close to a ten footer you just have to play it.
