what inspired you to make your DDR NICKNAME??????????

My inspiration to have a nick was just the fact that it would be cool to be known by a DDR Nickname, and to be called that. Gives you a feeling of belonging, I think.

My nickname, Angelic, was inspired by my favorite song, HVAM, and an urge to see how skilled I can become at DDR with my God-given abilities, since I don't really try my full 100% that often..

To be honest, I just wanted it to be a name I can call myself for showing ownership to screenshots and such, but now some people call me that all the time. o_O

Though most people just use my real name, I like to be refered to as The Wolf. Many reasons behind that one. 1 off, my real name:Raul, means the leader of wolves. Second, my favorite anime character of all time is Nicholas D. Wolfwood. Next, another one of my favorite anime characters is refered to as the wolf and thats Lupin the III. And one of my favorite bands: Andrew W.K, came out with an awesome cd called The Wolf. Plus it's my favorite animal and Wolf fits in the ddr high score list.

"DJ" has to do with music, and since most people (incorrectly) automatically associate DJing with being black (which I am), I figured it fit. "X" is just a cool letter...I'm an "X" fanboi

Chris: Yeah, you're really good at that song. You're the King of Dam Dariram.
Me: No... The ArchDuke of Dam Dariram!
*manaical laughter ensuses*

I was ArchDukeofDamDariram when I first got on DDRFreak. After a while, I cut it down to ArchDuke.

Xequar is short for Xequar the Hero, who is a character in a couple of short stories I wrote when I was in 8th and 9th grade (about 8 or 9 years ago). Xequar was, of course, a legendary hero that led a band of adventurers on a journey of mystical proportions, and of course, the character was based mainly on myself. So, I began to use it as a screen name and the like, and some of my friends actually began to call me by that name. Very few do anymore, however...

It really has nothing to do with Bemani. I chose 'Yost' after the abysmal actor, David Yost, best known for his role as Billy Cranston on Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. It's pretty hard to understand why, the best I can do for an explanation is that when I watched the power rangers movie at 3 AM about a year or so ago, I just found his bad acting to be the funniest thing I'd ever seen. Not long afterwards I got my first bemani High Score [On a pop n' music machine, btw]... I didn't have anything to put down as a name so as an inside joke I wrote YOST. And I never bothered to come up with a better name than that, mainly because its 4 letters, a convenient scoreboard tag. I stuck with the name on online forums too, for some reason.
The other part of my name [C^2] refers to my DDR team, the *C*aptain's *C*rew, named of course for the immortal words of Captain Jack from 'In the navy '99': "We want you, we want you, we want you for the captain's crew".

Well, for my first tourney, everyone of the team had to have a nickname and I wasn't aware I even needed one. So, I talked to my friend Megan and she said I scrunch up my nose like a bunny when I giggle sometimes...so she called me the Jap word for bunny(or rabbit) Usagi.
