My name's Hope, and I've actually been to DDR Freaks a ton, just never really looked into forums. I'm 15 (yes, a youngster), and live in Los Angeles, Cali. I'm an ok player, Trick - Maniac (or Standard - Heavy as you guys now say

), and I'm barely starting to attempt freestyling (which I really stink at). I also like music in general, mainly rock, funk, and jazz, (I play guitar in my school's jazz band and I'm learning bass), and yeah... Guess I'll stop there (no one probably reads this topic anyways!)

Hello. i'm living in Louisville, Ky and i was just popping on here to say hi and all that...i actually have a group of friends that i hang out with and a few of us have just really gotten into DDR, and all it's wonder. we're playing on the PS2 mostly right now...we got Max, Max2, Konami Mix, and one other (the one for the PS1). i was also trying to find some other players in my area to chat with and maybe play/hang out with. I used to post about a year ago as MateriaGirl. So, now I'm back and my name has changed to kareyu. I more of a medicore DDR player and I love to freestyle.

I also like anime, manga, videogames, (mostly fighting and bemani).

well, hello. I am JoyStick, AKA ben AKA mouseAKA any other computer peripheril out there.

i discovered DDR when my brother, his best friend and I went to the movies one timeand there was a machine in thelobby(8th mix if you must know),and i've seen it before, but i have never seen anyone play it, so i got online and looked for any info i could find on it, got learned and here i am a year later

i am a trick playah and i am 13 (i've got to the youngest serious DDR player out there)

Hi, my name is Cmen.

I bought Konamix when it first came out, tried and didn't really get into it. Then last year a few friends ( J.R. and Captain Sh!tty Pants) of mine started playing all the time so I got into it too. I still don't play all the time but am starting to. I can beat most 8 footers and some 9 footers so I'm not that great yet. I play mostly in Oshawa, Canada and in Sarasota, Fl in the winter time. Lates.

I'm an American who is currently in Iraq. I don't get to play much DDR here, but I do have a BNS pad.. it is only a question of having enough room to play in the barracks.

I recently got to play on a Max 2 machine in a mall in Qatar. They had three machines lined up next to each other... The most I've ever seen in one place. I barely passed MAX 300 Heavy for the amusement of the crowd of Qataris. Arcade machines are tough when you have been using a soft pad for the last 6 months!

I am from Texas where I play at Putt Putt in Killeen.
