Your "Goal" song

Mine was totally Rhythm and Police Heavy. I went to a LAN Party at EA and I saw my friend do it and I was amazed at the cross overs he did. I passed Sakura and Max 300 back to back earlier onj but I never realy got cross overs down. I had to get a friend to show me how to do them. He like SDG'd it in fron of me

. When I finally passed it I was like "YES!!!".

Songs in the past for me have been Sky High, CSFIL:SM, I Do I Do I Do and Burnin the Floor Momo mix.

Right now trying to pass Cartoon Heroes consistently with 1.5x no bar and get a B on it (either i screw up enough to die or pass with a very high end C). Pass So Deep consistently 1.5x no bar (passed it twice 2x with bar) I can FC until it gets to the second half of the song

I pretty much know what the rhythms are but i can't read what the steps are that well

(no matter what speed i put the arrows on).

Other stuff:
Trying to pass Max300 again. Passed once, close enough to twice, but its my stamina that prevents me from consistent passing on that song. That and the segment just after the freeze screws with my life bar, i can FC or close to FC the rest of the song.

Trying to pass Paranoia Survivor. Song is easy enough just stamina problem again and the death run is where i die normally. Almost passed it once, bar to the death run then no-bar was surviving it until foot slipped off the pad

You only need 70 greats

I find that once you can do each section of that song it becomes easy to PA that section

weird....but my perfect attack is really good on the first half

then i screw the second half so i end up with 300 perfects a decent amount a greats and then way too many goods boos and misses from the second half

Keep trying and you'll get it! My friend played it to death and now he can AA it 1x flat and his best is 36 greats

I'd like to have more 9-foot AA's, and have more sdg's in general. I'd also like to pass a 10 footer (aside from bag 1x and Sakura which I have done already).

Ive had goal songs ever since i started playing. I remember dying to pass Mahou no Tobira standard!

Recently i achieved consistantly passing Exotic Ethnic and R&P. But currently im trying to pass ANY 10-footer (not including Bag)

I can make it about half way through 270 before my knees give in....one day...

I remember when my goal song was to complete PSM:O...Then one day I just decided "meh, sure I'll try it." And got a "B". I wasn't tired at all, wasn't pleased either...It wasn't THAT hard, but still it was good I suppose to beat it finally.

I guess right now my goals are to AA Paranoia Survior on the EX stage. I've done it on normal. But still, even though I can read EX stage no problem, there's just something about it that makes it a tad harder...Even if you can full combo a song (due to pressure mode) still....

Right now I'm trying to at least AA Fantasy(MAX version). The only part I can't seem to get down are those 1/16th runs in the chorus of the song where it follows the music. It's all like "Fantasy you set me free! Perfect-Good-Perfect-Miss-Miss-Good-Perfect-Miss". Best so far is an A (ugh). I'm not into MAXes, PARANOiAs, So Deep etc because I'M NOT A GOOD PLAYER. There I said it.

I remember back in my Standard days (and pretty sloppy at that), I used to drool over watching people play Insertion, Drop Out, and M.Japan. I thought at the time that I'd consider myself having "made it" as a DDR player when I could do those songs well. Now I'm there, kinda. I combo them, but my PA sucks buttocks, and I see that I'm nowhere near, nor will ever have "made it". There's always another challenge.

I just wish I had more natural DDR ability like some people, but all my mediocre acheivements come though an embaressing amount of practice and money. Meanwhile, people I know who were on Standard when I was already on Heavy can now AA So Deep while I still get a B (Edit: now an A at least). It's very frustrating when you want to be so good, and you want DDR to be your "thing", ya know.

Right now, I'm trying to survive Max300 consistantly.

Well the one song that keeps me from being considered a good playing is AA'ing Maxx Unlimited. Everyone I know can do except me. WTF??? I can't understand for the life of me why AA'ing this song is freaking hard?

But I'll most certainly consdier myself a good player if I can do that.

Yeah, I know, they're all on DDRMAX. Well give me a break, My DDRMAX2 was stolen. Give me some time and I'll have more variety....
