DDR coming to NBC's morning show

Wow... a good amount of time being spent on it, a good demo, good promos... a good chunk of good publicity right there. Who would've guessed?

Yes, excellent job.

Anne Curry kept trying to get them to say "Oh, I was soooo depressed and no one liked me and I was on the verge of suicide because I'm a disgrace to my father who dies at Normandy after going to war to make his nephew who fainted in a spelling bee contest proud."

They handled the questioning beautifully, in my opinion.

Was anyone else pissed that they didn't finish either of the songs that they played?

For those who haven't seen it themselves but want to record it on VCR or something, I'm guessing this is 15-20 minutes into the second hour?

Given the limited time of the spot, it's understandable that they wanted to fit a bit of both decent play on Heavy and public ridicule of the hosts in, rather than to have just one or the other. =P

And yeah, 8:18 or so showed on my clock as the segment came up. It goes from commercial break to commercial break, so it's pretty smooth to cut out.

And I was rooting for them to do "The whisle song" but did "Twilight Zone" Oh well! Still did great and wonderful!

The hosts even had my mom laughing becuase she likes to watch me and is amazed with the players who can do Heavy.

Good Job to those who put this one together. It was the best demo of DDR I've seen yet on those morning shows. They actually had a demo of Maniac and Beginner. Questions were handled nicely.

BTW...which one is the sideways arrow?

I know I've ragged on the whole GetUpMove thing in the past, but the segment this morning was great. Really well done!

It was really all about DDR itself and how helpful it can be. And you guys (assuming you're reading the thread still) handled yourselves extremely well. Congrats!

AND YES I HATE THE SYNCing OF THE HOME GAME... I'm like whateva when I was playing, it's all good. We failed Twilight Zone because we were only supposed to show about 30 seconds of the game so that Matt and Anne could do their thang.

I could probably torrent the video under MISC section on suprnova or something but yea, it was great seeing DDR get high praise on a well known news show.
