that's great, but i don't think you needed to say it 3 times. _________________

I can see "I Will Survive" being overplayed within a week of this release.
I'll be curious to see what other songs are on this version.

I hope this an an append, or at least has that option. I'd hate to have to change disks just to play a different song.
It should be possible to let it append the first KR and be playable on its own. |

Hooray. KR is a ton of fun but the original has been collecting dust with me and my friends because the songs eventually got so overplayed. _________________

I don't think it will be an append:
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/242518.asp
EB is taking pre-orders for it at $39.99 which is the same price as the first game without the microphone.
If it were an append, wouldn't it be less money? |

I really hope this thing has a much better interface than last time around. Waiting for stuff to load was horrible and as you were spinning through the songs the difficulty rating and high score wouldn't update until you gave it a second to catch up. It would also help if they had a better rating system than only 3 mics. |

That's what Append *is*. In the old DDR games with Append mode, you switched to the older discs to play the older songs. You just got to play them in the new interface. Switching discs is unavoidable, whether you're running on a new engine or not.

Well, off the topic of append discs. Remember how almost all of the songs on Karaoke Revolution Vol. 1 had people doing covers of the songs? And not the real songs themselves?
Yeah. For God's sake, please say that they'll keep the original versions of the songs this time and not just get in-studio people to do covers of each song. I admit, some of them were fine ... but others? Ugh. Just, ugh. _________________

No, Wavegroup is doing the covers again....
It would cost too much to have the original guys...

Well, I'm not meaning go and get those people who did the actual songs, and make them do it again.
But I'm naive to these sorts of things. Is it really that expensive to get the real songs put on the game, compared to getting the rights to them and making average covers of them? _________________
