My final speech for speech class is gonna be on ddr but there is one problem. it needs to be a debatable topic. i thought about the ddr as a sport, but that has already been solved. any ideas? _________________

i was thinking about doing a speech about DDR in my speech class. but i couldnt think of how to make it Controversal. (debatable) you need to choose a side.
maybe something to do with the Exercise it gives you how you benefit from it. Thats all i can think. _________________

One Idea I get is that some schools in California are starting to use DDR as a part of there P.E. program (source: techtv.com) Should schools continue to use it as a part of the P.E. program or should they stick to regular sports. (Just build off of this, This is just something you may want to use to get started ) |

Well, with DDR and controversy, you have a number of different topics to look at:
* is bar raping cheating?
* are speed mods cheating?
* did JSB /really/ AAA LoM
there's lots more, but those are the most common

Im guessing yours is the persuasive speech?
(persuasive speeche have to be debatable)
Why not, "Everybody should learn how to play DDR" or something to that effect.
Use examples like its a great excercise, its really fun to play, its becoming more popular in america, its been around for a while, your not just moving your thumbs your moving your whole body... ETC |
thats a good idea. i'll do "Everyone should play ddr" or i'll do the DDR in schools debate.
as for JSB and LOM, the speech has to be 15 minutes, so i don't think that will work, but it was a good idea. _________________
