The pocketstation & insane arcade edits.

Recently a machine near me was upgraded to a different machine with memory card slots. So I read the memory card guide on this site. I didn't really understand it at all

so could anybody go into more detail exactly what I need to start showing off some insane arcade edits?

Here is what I own:

Dance Dance Revolution (The Original), American
Dance Dance Revolution Konamix
DDRMAX USA
DDRMAX2 USA
A Dexdrive

Should I purchase a pockettstation for edits among other things. I really am absolutly clueless so if you can, be as specific as possible.

You won't be able to use any of the edits you make with those mixes unless you know how to haxor them

You need the Japanese Mixes to use edits in the arcade

To my knowledge, though, you need to format your memory card via 5th Mix CS to use home-generated edits.
