What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I'm all about my Etnies Sal Barbier 23's. That or my chucks. Best shoes to play in. I play in combat boots sometimes...but thats not the greatest idea.

I find it a little harder to play in my chucks, I don't know why just is harder for me.

1. don't play in sandals (if they're like plastic or something) because I slipped off the platform and scraped my knee...
2. don't play in boots or at least with shoes that have thick heels- my friend
i usually play barefoot on the soft pad, i'm trying to wear sneakers at when i go to the arcade but I never know when i'm gonna end up going there.

Don't you just hate it when you find a song at the arcade that you really like because it has fun steps, but you can't really hear it because the DDR machine is right next to the first person shooter that's always goin' "Kkekekekekekeke!" all the time? and then later you get to hear the song and it's something really fruity like "You're a pink little dinosaur!" ?!

Wouldn't that hurt to play barefoot? I play in my Adidas shoes with red reflector(or sparkly

) stripes.

adidas shell tops.. theyre light, but i can still feel the pad to a certain extent. but.. i play soft pad at home..

I play in converses sometimes but most of the time I wear my dr martens (there're my favorite shoes) I play bear foot sometimes or w/ socks (depending on if I wore shoes that were too high to play in And sometime I wear plattforms which gets me a lot of attention for some reason

I play with my Emerica Reynolds2. Yeah skate shoes to play DDR in are good as long as they're not the ones that fall apart after 2 weeks of skating (DC's)

Yeah I agree with the skate shoes. I where my vans to play. Their very compfy and like you said wide. And mine got waffle grip, so yeah their none slipery!

i think sk8ing shoes are better cus they are flat soled so you can get more grip and theyre ment to grip onto a bord. me vans all the way
