buying a metal pad

I plan on buying a metal pad, and I've found three very well priced pads on eBay but I'm afraid they will wear, not last, or are not quality pads and will have contact problems like the early Red Octanes. They all have pretty much the same specs, and all look quality, but is there any way I can really tell? I would really appreciate it if someone could take a quick look at the three pads and tell me what you think. They are:

Would I be better off just buying a Red Octane? Also, if I buy a Red Octane do I have to worry about the bad contact system?

One last question - all the the eBay pads I listed had bars, are there any quality pads I can buy that have a bar, but won't cost much more than a Red Octane?
